Works on my garden hose sprinklers!
I know these are typically used for washing machines making loud noises when a load is ran but my application was for sprinklers that were on a timer fed by my garden house spigot. Every time the timer turned the water off, my pipes would hammer sending a loud wave throughout my entire house. The sound started to get worse and my wife was getting concerned so I went to find a solution on Amazon and I found one! This mini arrestor completely silenced my pipes when the timer turned the water off. No sound at all any more and I'm thrilled. Its literally 1 minute installation as it has standard garden hose threads...Needless to say, the wife is happy too. If i had one gripe, I wish that the shape could be more of a flow through design instead of the L shape it came as but again, it wasn't made for my application but still worked incredibly well. Some additional water information from my home here in Graham, WA:Water pressure: City Water 65PSI @ 9.2 GPM from my spigot. Pretty good, I would say.If you're on the fence about buying this product to prevent your home's pipes from water hammering, don't wait any longer. This piece is made in the USA and I can vouch that it lives up to the hype.

These Actually Work!
My home is older with no PRV installed on the main water line to the house, so naturally the water hammering is excessive with an LG high efficiency washing machine (that must have been designed by plumbers to make more money on burst pipes). Not good for older, or any pipes for that matter.Don't do what I did and waste your time going to the big HD store and purchase an inferior product (1st photo shows theirs on the left, this product to the right) The big box store product stopped the water hammering for maybe two washes before failing, and I even tried installing two of those on one line to see if that would help, it did not.Now to this product, it works amazingly. No hammering since I installed it, and been going for the past week with no issues. As you can see in the photo, this one is taller and a little bigger in diameter, which is what you want in a product such as this. I really appreciated how much less this brand stuck out from the back of the machine as well. Especially since I didn't have the space to install it inside the water box at the main valve. I hope to get at least a year out of these before they fail, but even if it's less than that I'll still be going back to this brand.

Ship as pictured!
The picture on Amazon did not match what was received. I could’ve purchased what was shipped for approximately $5/ea less from other providers.

Quiets my he washer about 95%
5 min to install and 90 95 % quieter, just awesome. Hopefully they last a while, either way I wouldn't mind changing these every year or whatever for the quiet. And I'm guessing the hot side should last allot longer. So far 3 months
