A slightly different take on the regular garam masala
The Everest Royal Garam Masala is a slightly different take on the regular garam masala. It has a fewer variety of spices and a slightly more peppery flavor which I love. Do try this one out if you've gotten a little bored from the regular version and need something new to spice up your cooking!

One of the best garam masala
After using this masala to basically every gravy based sabji it enhanced their taste with nice aroma (though we use Sabut masala) you can use it with every other masala like mix with chhole masala and paneer masala it will do the trick to enhance their presence.

Pure garam masala, not diluted with coriander
It has the best aroma as it is not diluted with coriander. Most garam masala brands dilute it as it cheaper to dilute with coriander. So you have to use a lot of the powder, but this one, you have to use very little.

Checked ingredients on Amazon to make sure no salt. All good. Upon receiving the item it clearly states "iodised salt" in the ingredients and it is quite prominent in the mix, which means you cannot use much in cooking as it will be too salty. I do not like pre added salt in my garam as I like to flavour some dishes intensely with spices, so this is very disappointing. Because you have to use less due to the salt content, the garam turns out to be mild and not as warming. This version also has a dominant star anise note.....I think it is too dominant personally, as it overpowers the other spices. I admit, I prefer MDH brand which definitely has no added salt and I will go back to it. A shame, I am sure this brand is well-renowned, but I wish they had a salt free version. 3/5.
