IRH International Riding Helmets Horseback Riding Safety Ergonomic Equestrian IR4G Helmet

I ordered 11 different helmets (3 IRH, 5 Ovation and 3 Troxel) because I don't want to wear a helmet but I need to so I was determined to find a good: style and comfort/fit. I learned a lot about helmets and myself during this process. No helmets look good on me (I have a small face & they all look like buckets on my head). That said.... padding, fit, vents and STRAPS make a big difference. I ultimately went with this helmet because it fit like a glove, the strap system is easy and it's not as bobble head as some others. Generally speaking, I liked all the IRH varieties but this one won because of the strap - the others were just too complex and after trying 15min (ea) to get the strap right, I gave up.

This is my daughters 4th IRH helmet. E we absolutely love the brand. They last forever. We try to replace her helmets every other year even though they still look Brand new. She honestly still has her IRA Helmer’s we bought 8 years ago and it still looks good. She wears it still when she is just working on the farm or moving horses in and out of the barn. Great helmet and great price. The matte is by far her favorite one.

I used to ride in a Troxel, and just never felt like they fit well. This helmet conforms much better to my head and stays firmly in place without pinching. I love the extra insert so I can swap out for cleaning. Very comfortable, lightweight, and as flattering as a helmet can be. I've only used it a couple of times so I can't speak to the longevity, but so far the quality feels good.

Absolutely LOVE this helmet! The extra material in the back on the helmet really provides a snug fit. Looks amazing on in shows! No sweat during those hot show days!

Fits well, safe and not too heavy or hot

Bought this for an 18 year old amateur hunter jumper for her show days, and it’s flasher than the OneK that everyone has... and I think, just as good quality, if not better! Worth the look if you want a quality helmet and you’re on a budget! Love the customizable inserts, so she can add padded or subtracted, based on how she wears her hair.

I loved this helmet, but quickly discovered my head is too oval for this helmet. I wish it had worked as it’s very sleek & more streamlined than many helmets, but the pressure on my forehead was too much, so I sprung for a one K defender in oval which was double the price.
