Botanical Porcelain Duo Teapot, Teacup and Saucer Set

Love it! It came in a beautifully secure box. Even the top of the teapot has it's own place. Everything is very securely packaged. Thus, nothing was broken.Furthermore, Botanical Porcelain Duo Teapot Set is beautiful! The butterfly and dragonfly are stunning! The teacup hold about 2 cups which is ideal for tea satchel. Placing the hot teapot immediately over the cup and saucer serves to warm up the cup. So tea seems to taste especially delicious. BPDT is a fabulous combination of beauty, form, and function; both practical and stylish.Since it arrives, I've been using it daily and love every moment of it.I enjoyed it so much that I purchase another one. Then today, I bought one for my aunt in Taiwan. I am seriously contemplating buying another 2 since I love it so much. In addition, the price is reasonable. So I've been enjoying that thought while sipping my tea.I'm happy every time I use it. So using this 2 times a day, 365 days a year = 730 moments a year, at less than $30. Using $30 for a calculation, I'm spending about 4 cents per moments of happiness per year. Well worth the value!-----I just opened the second BPDT set I purchased. The design is different. Different butterflies on the teapot and saucer. Dragonflies in different color and orientation, profile instead of top view of the dragonfly. My first set has more bees and even a ladybug. The second set has many more butterflies and dragonflies. So now I understand what they meant about the pattern and design.Although it's different, BPDT #2 is still beautiful, just different.When I put the teapot sets side by side, they are obviously from the same family; at the same time, each true to itself. Thus, it appeared that each teapot is individually hand drawn in a very professional and pleasing manner. I appreciate each teapot's uniqueness. Since each one is different, odds are: I won't be bored even when I buy more.Looking ahead, I think there will be a BPDT #3, then #4 in near the future.

This is an ADORABLE, 5 piece, personal teapot & lid/ cup/ saucer combination, beautifully packaged in a "silk" lined high quality gift box. Cream in color, the set is decorated with charming small flowers & garden critters - bees, lady bugs, butterflies, dragonflies/mayflies - brings a smile to my face every morning! Please note: all items are trimmed in a metalic gold, like many fine china pieces, and thus should not be placed in the microwave for a "warm up" as well as requires hand washing. Though the cup rim is not as thin as my best pieces, it's a great pleasure to use. You will not be disappointed with this as a purchase for personal use or a sweet gift for a favorite friend!

This gift was for my wife and here's what she said - I chose this tea set for one but wasn't sure from the pics if it was white or yellow. The color is an off white/light tan and looks really nice. The flowers, dragon flies and butterflies are beautiful. I thought it was going to be too small but the tea pot holds 2 whole cups (sized it up to a Sprite can and a regular coffee mug). By the time the first one is getting cold you can refill it with more hot tea. Also, no problems with the shipping, it was very secure in the Amazon box and the nice gift box. The saucer was held in place in the top of the box with elastic and the tea pot, tea pot lid and cup were securely in the box. I highly recommend.

I love the design. Not painted on, more like permanent decals. The pot holds more than you'd think. I hadn't considered that the wide mouth of the cup would cool my tea off so quickly.Be sure and pre-heat cup and pot with boiling water first, dump water, then steep your tea.

Given that I'm a tea enthusiast, I bought this tea service for myself. The item arrived on time, beautifully wrapped and just gorgeous to look at. The spring flowers, butterflies and dragonflies are delicated painted on the china and the colors are warm, soothing and pleasing to the eye. The china is not overly delicate so I'm not nervous each time I wash it. I've been using this tea set to drink my darjeeling tea each morning; just drinking it in such lovely china makes tea time so much more enjoyable. It's a great bargain and I'm certain to make plenty of use of it. Just perfect to snuggle up with a great book and savor your favorite tea. If you're a tea aficionado, I highly recommend this tea service; you are in for a treat!

Ordered this as a gift to my daughter who had recently commented on her enjoyment of having a cup of tea. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the packaging. It came in a pretty blue box. The lid of the box is a clever design offering a safe nest for the plate not to break in transit. The set is very pretty. Beautiful colors and a pretty print. How the pot separates from the cup/saucer is also a clever design. This item is very high quality. Functional and pretty. It turned out to be a very special gift and I am glad I ordered it.
