This jerky was very delicious! Like other reviewers have said, I am a pescatarian and have been one for 5 years now. As a result, I have really missed eating jerky. But when I saw this on Amazon I was ecstatic! At first I wasn’t sure about it because of the price ($25), but I decided to splurge a little and give this a try. When it arrived (in about 3 or 4 days thanks to prime shipping) I was so excited! I really enjoyed every piece of the jerky from the first to the last! Although I really enjoyed this snack I haven’t ordered it again yet because of the price. I just feel like $25 is a bit much for jerky, but it is very good like I said so I will probably buy it again when I want to treat myself. So in conclusion, I think this is a great snack to enjoy in moderation, if you find the price to be bit much.

I still prefer the marlin teriyaki (different brand, same amazon seller) but this is also very, very tasty. teriyaki taste is a bit stronger than the marlin, but the sweet flavor of ahi is still very present. each one seems to have a mix of softer, meatier chunks, and flatter drier chewier pieces - it's nice to have both.

I'm a 15-year pescatarian who misses beef jerky so very much. I have spent years looking for something that had the taste and texture of jerky but, you know, obviously wasnt beef, pork, or Turkey. I have tried salmon jerky and tuna jerky before and was consistently disappointed. I pretty much convinced myself that jerky was a luxury I just wasnt going to find as a pescatarian-friendly option. Until I received this months Snack Crate. It featured Hawaii and oh my stars was I excited to see this jerky in the box! I was obviously skeptical, but even on the first chew I knew I had something special. Now, obviously it is no beef so it doesnt taste exactly like beef jerky, but for someone who has been searching for years, this comes dang close enough! The fish flavor is not overwhelming. And the teriyaki really bring it home. It may be a bit salty at times if you get over-zealous and shove huge chunks in your mouth like I did, but if you eat it in individual pieces like a civilized person, it is truly divine. I hadn't even finished the bag from snack crate before I came on here and bought more. And I will be buying much more. Thank you so much!

Tasted more of the salty ocean than of the actual fish jerky.

Very flavorful. Great hiking snack/fuel. High quality. They have many variations so try a sampler before buying the larger sized packages of your favorites.

I ordered this and salivated for two days picturing the decadent salty flavor of seared Ahi, but as a jerky. It seemed like a dream come true because I always buy too much fish and half of it goes bad and gets icky. Unfortunately it just wasn’t what I imagined. It tasted like beef jerky if a fish died on it. Or jerky made from a sailor cow. Very tough. If I spend $18 on a pack of jerky, I’d rather it be at a gas station in the middle of the desert outside of Las Vegas. In a world where you can order any delicious treat to your home, do yourself a favor and order a can of fresh tuna instead of this crispy, sad morsels.
