I love the product. It's light weight and works mechanically like our old Kong leash. However, it's started making a clicking noise when our girl goes to walk out on it and when she's coming back to us. she's a strong puller. That's why we went with this product to go along with the babyltrl harness I bought her at the same time. That's working for her though. I'm really bummed that the leash didn't work for her. The other items included are also amazing products. The collar is strong and seems durable, time will tell with that but I'm not worried. The water dish and the bag holder plus bags are great as well. I would recommend this product. Just be aware of your dog's strength and if too strong of a puller I would go with a stronger leash.

It came with a collapsible bowl for water and a poop bag holder (filled with a roll of bags). Both had carabiner's to attach to the base of the leash. It's a good leash and at $20 I thought a very decent price. My only complaint is that the poop bag holder is made of hard plastic, as is the handle so when you are walking there is a constant clicking noise as the poop holder (shaped like a dog bone, so cute) swings back and forth and hits the base of the leash, which is also plastic. It would be nice if the holder could be made from silicone or some sort of rubber to help eliminate the constant noise it makes when walking. However it is removable so you don't HAVE to listen to it, it's just nice to have the poop bag holder on the leash. I still give it 5 stars.

I have a 42 Lbs pit bull and this leash works well overall for the price but it is certainly not heavy duty. The lock allows the leash to extend with medium pulling. The mechanism itself has to be depressed and slid toward the user. It would be best if pushed away from user to make it easier to lock. Overall it's a good deal for the price but you get what you pay for.

This is the second one I ordered. I ordered one for my 90lb monster that bit through another brand with one chomp. He has been unsuccessful with biting through this one. I am so happy with the quality I ordered another for my smaller dog. I love the bowls that come with them. They are perfect for beach walks. So happy with these leashes. They stay locked even when being pulled by big dogs.

I bought this leash in April 2021 because it was so affordable. Upon using it, it was obvious that the leash creators were attempting their own redesign of a retractable leash, rather than simply copying existing models. They made it so that the leash locks when sliding the button backward, instead of forward like other models. And the lock works. But with many other leashes, applying very slight pressure to the button is enough to tentatively 'lock' the leash, without having to push the button for a full 'hard' lock. If you try to hold the button lightly with this leash, it easily slips and allows the dog to pull out the 'ribbon' lead further. The ribbon also has a tendency to get twisted up and needs to be manually untwisted, meaning that the swivel holding the clip to the ribbon is not doing its job. The best thing that I can say is that the nylon ribbon is very strong, and has not frayed. I bought this leash because two other brands of leash became too frayed. However, just six months into using this leash, the nylon ribbon pulled out of the casing. I assumed that it had torn, but upon close inspection, the nylon ribbon was entirely intact, meaning that some other mechanism must have failed (broke) inside the leash. But perhaps, worst of all is the phony "one year warranty". A booklet that came with the leash advises the user to send broken or defective leashes "to our office", but there is no office address provided. The booklet also says to contact the seller with any questions or issues by clicking the "contact seller" button on Amazon. But I could find no such button, and could find no means of contacting the seller other than by writing a product review. Although it seems that the maker of this leash is trying to create a new, more affordable, functional and durable retractable leash, as of April 2021, they still have some more work to do.

I have a big dog (~90 lb lab) and he's a bit of a puller sometimes but this leash got it done for a few months. Then I was taking him for a walk this week and he took off after a rabbit and the line snapped right out of the handle. The rabbit is fine (he got scared of the leash snapping lol) but it's annoying that this leash couldn't handle that. Might invest in one again when he's a little older. The only other complaint I have is the locking mechanism takes a bit to get used to but once you do, it gets the job done.

It was a little word at first but iv come to enjoy the way you hold onto it and how fast it locks into place when my big dog runs at wildlife and the easy release after. The handle looks way more bulky then it really is and that’s nice for both me and my wife so it’s easier to handle

I was very surprised by how great all the stuff was, and the collar locks which is really great since I have a pitbull and when she pulls, the latch doesnt open

Extending tape not very strong, my puppy chewed through it.

This leash is not chew proof as stated in the product description. It took my dog less the 5 minutes to chew through the leash and break it. It cost over $30 not including postage. A waste of money. If you dog is a chewer, don't buy this leash.
