Everything one needs on a spiritual journey -- in 80 pages!
This is the book that I've given away to at least 100 individuals over the last 20 years. Of the countless books I've read on the subject of enlightenment/higher consciousness (ok, so I'm a slow learner), this little book captures all of the essentials without obfuscation, in a scant 80 pages. There was a time when I read it cover-to-cover each and every day, and I've never been so clear, expanded, loving and happy (so why did I stop, you ask? What fun is life on Earth if we can't be dense and contracted from time-to-time? <G>). I corresponded with Thaddeus for awhile back in the early '70s, and I was very impressed by his no-B/S attitude to personal growth, and the fact that he eschewed followers and self-agrandizement.The Guide is perhaps the most honest book I've ever read and a great and loving gift to us all. Get past the '60s lingo and you have a trusted--and tested--companion for life.

wonderful little book
I was 21 years old and a stranger gave me this little book. I did not even finish reading it but it literally changed my life. I don't pretend to know if it will do that for anyone else but it's certainly worth a try. I gave my copy away to someone else but I never forgot it. Many many years later in a different world that now has the Internet... on a whim I decided to search for it and what do you know? I found it! I don't need to read it, I just like to have it around like an old and dear friend and I can see it now from where I am sitting while I write this.

An Absolute Jewel !
I am in owe!!Much of what he is speaking here ... is just now, in this late 7 years, starting to come up (and still not all), in the words of others. And i have read, and listened, and been through, many many many kind of 'teachings'... from Alan Watts, to ... CarlosCastanheda, José Silva, Robert Monroe ... to some Tibetan masters, Osho, J.Krishnamurti, Douglas Harding, Ram Dass, Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta, Eckhart Tolle, Adyashanti, Jeff Foster, Bentinho Massaro ... also Anita Moorjani, Wendy Kennedy and some other channelers ...It's all out here, in a clear, simple and very much compact form! ... in less then 100 pages! and since 1971! ...It is not at all a product of 'Hippies Culture' - it is all here, already, the best, the most absolute jewel ... for who ever wants to see it and recognize it. ♡♡♡♡♡!

Very insightful
Having traveled some of the road the author has, I have to give 5 stars for his outstanding ability to put it to print. Great little book that improves the world and universe.

Puts it all in perspective
I love the perspective of ease in this book..which reveals the mind's tendency to make mountains out of mole-hills. It clarifies what is needed in the moment...a sense of relaxation in order to become centralized/simplified so that awareness can freely expand within what is truly, empty space. This book has simply underscored something which has been blooming....slowly...fit-fully :)....for years and years....and I'm grateful for it. I'm stubborn and indulgent...often a moron lol!...and yet this book brings me home every time.

helped me learn how to love myself
I read this book to search for a way to self-compassion and expanded heart. More than any psychological books that tells you to love yourself and sit with your feelings, this book gave me what i want convincigly. It showed me that so much of what is felt and lived internally is more than what our mind alone can manage, and the path to internal harmony can be quite simple. This approchable little book sheds light on whatever you are grappling with on the planes of philosophy, psyche, self-help, and spirituality.

I actually just started reading this on the Kindle app ...
I actually just started reading this on the Kindle app, but the first 35% of it is the author just explaining how he came to write the remaining 65% of the book you just paid for, plus pictures of him & his family...and his three successive wives. A lot of filler - he probably should have simply left it in its original pamphlet form.

A good way to blow the lid off your own ideas
The concepts presented here are so simple and direct that they expand to include everything. The book is an easy read and a difficult ask. No resistance.

;-) Es wird seinem englischen Titel "the lazy man's guide to enlightment" also völlig gerecht, auch inhaltlich.Und natürlich finde ich, dass es auch in deutscher Sprache unbedingt wieder verlegt werden sollte.
