Trish McEvoy High Volume Tubular Mascara in Shade Jet Black

I’ve been using this Trish McEvoy product for years. I only use it on my lower lashes since I have lash extensions on the uppers. Smudgy mascara is the worst!! This product is a marvel of mascara tech with these little tubes that form with application. They’re long-lasting but easy to remove even with the lash cleanser I use for my extensions! And it never smudges! The product does give nice volume to my lower lashes that are nearly blonde but if super volume is what you’re looking for, not sure this is the product for you. But for me, I always have a tube (and currently 2 unopened ones) for my makeup drawer and travel makeup kit. Did I mention it never smudges?!!

This mascara reminds me of an old mascara by another brand that i used to love, but was discontinued. This Trish McEvoy formula is excellent. I only use one coat because i prefer a more natural, feathered look. The formula doesnt clump at all, and the brush is great for getting in between the lashes at the root and then pulling up for length. Ive never seen a brush like this one and i truly love it. But the best part of the formula is that its water resistent and doesnt smudge. I say water resistant instead of water proof because it absolutely stays put in the presence of water BUT it is so easy to wash off. No special makeup remover needed! And even if some of the mascara comes off on its own, it doesnt smudge off, it balls up and slips off, so you never get black panda eyes. Its just the best! I went to jiu jitsu class with it on by accident and it stayed put, which is BEYOND impressive considering in jiu jitsu training, not only is there excessive sweating but you are also constantly getting your face smashed. I absolutely love this mascara and feel no need to try any other brand or formula as long as I can keep buying this one!

I love this mascara---it looks very good on me, but the best part is---it's a breeze to take off. I'll admit---there are better looking mascaras (on me) out there, but this is a definite winner because all you need to wash it off is just warm water and that is it! I tried different tubing mascaras and I have to say that this one has the best price to quality ration. I tried Trish McEvoy High Volume Mascara (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00132FPFY/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and Trish McEvoy Lash Curling Mascara (this curent product). These are defiantly superior to Kevyn Aucoin Volume Mascara (this one) but the price is much higher. I can not say that the quality out ways having to pay ~50$ for Trish McEvoy. I tried Blinc Mascaras in black and purple (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001MUNBZS/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and I have to say that even though these are cheaper---I don't like them at all! These are very runny and don't amplify lashes at all, but rather glue them together. I'm done with Blinc. Kevyn Aucoin Volume Mascara (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0014LLC3I/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1) provides just the right amount of lash amplification, with out lumps and clumps. It also allows for proper lash separation and stay on all day. My main reason for using tubing mascaras----it is how easy to take it off---you just wash your face with warm water and the mascara rolls off in little clumps. No more raccoon eyes!

I bought this because I was looking for a small/travel size tubing mascara. I currently use blinc, and it only comes in full size. I figured I would try this one since I barely go through a full tube every six months. Anyway, it’s a bit more expensive than blinc but I figured it would be worth it for a luxury brand item. Wow I am in complete shock at how terrible this mascara is. It’s thick and sorta dry. It doesn’t separate the lashes individually so you end up with the spidery-goopy eyelash clumps. You have to use a separate mascara brush afterward to fix the way it looks. It’s truly awful and I cannot understand how it’s highly rated at all. I missed my return window on this unfortunately, because I used it twice and went back to blinc. I wish I could get my money back because it’s truly garbage but it’s my fault for forgetting. Please try this in a store before purchasing because it’s really that bad. A part of me wonders if I got a bad tube but a few of the reviews complain about the exact same issues I’m experiencing. Blinc tubing mascara is so much better it’s not even close. Please don’t buy this …

Why this mascara? 1. It brushes on nicely. It creates tubes so your lashes get longer…just layer it on, you will see. 2. It does not smudge. I had a work colleague who always had smudges under her eyes. I finally told her, try Trish McEvoy’s mascara. I thought she might get offended, but it turns out she had been looking for a better mascara. She switched and was never smudgy afterwards. 3. My favorite reason to buy it is that it comes off with water! In tubes…so again, you don’t end up with shadows under your eyes.

This is the only mascara that looks natural and doesn’t clump on my sparse lashes. So easy to use with the slim brush. Doesn’t smudge or run but removes easily with warm water.

Best mascara ever…..never runs or smudges.

Hat super geklappt- warum gibt es diese Mascara in Deutschland sonst nicht. Sie ist meine absoluter Liebling aus den USA. Dank TUBING verschmiert sie einfach nicht!
