Reliable, comfortable, riding helmet, & nice color choices. Excellent padding where necessary, carrying bag- If a size 6.75 or larger, choose the M/L or L (?) option. The small was too tight, though other helmet brands might not be. There’s the great “construction helmet” tightening dial, very discreet, to get perfect fit. Also, well priced, & highly rated. I really love this helmet. Value.

Just had to replace both my daughter’s helmets since every 3 to 5yrs they should be replaced unless a serious fall happened with helmet on then replace immediately! Perfect fits!!!! My daughters love the comfort!!!

This is the second time I’ve bought this helmet for my daughter. She works on a ranch and does trail rides all day every day. She’s required to wear a helmet as are the customers. She wore the first one out and wanted to replace it after almost 2 years and wanted to replace with the same helmet. She rides for 4-8 hours a day and has been thrown a couple of times and I feel this helmet has protected her. True to size and easy to adjust.

Great value and good fit.

My just turned 3 years old granddaughter’s parents frequently take her on pony rides ( horse is about 14 hands or smaller ). The xxs helmet looks great as far as the color and style goes. The straps on the Ovation helmet are easily adjustable and the back of the helmet has a dial to adjust the fit. The fit seems okay. I also purchased a TuffRider helmet but returned it. In retrospect, I think it may have been a better fit for her round head shape. It’s so difficult to gauge when the wearer can’t tell you the fine details about wearing each helmet and perfection is the goal.

I started riding lessons at a local barn about a month ago. I am doing them alongside my three sons, ages 6 thru nearly 10 years of age. Our barn provides helmets but it takes time to find which one fits well each time we ride and this does eat into the lesson time somewhat. Not to mention, it is more hygienic to have your own helmet. Slowly but surely, I am getting each one of us a helmet of our own. I like the affordability of these Ovation helmets. They seem to be a great value. The price can fluctuate online so I watch closely and wait for a sale. The discounts can vary based on the color and size you are looking for and many have multiple sellers. I first ordered a size M/L and it fit my oldest and myself well. I love how the dial can make it tighter and more of a custom fit. The dial makes it more snug under the bones in the back of your head but it is quite comfortable. At first, I feel a little pressure, but when riding, I don't even pay any attention to it. The M/L was a little loose on my 8-year-old, so I ordered this one in size S/M for him. I tried this one on my almost 10-year-old and he said it felt like it wanted to pop off, so I think the larger size was right for him. At nearly the tightest, it is the right size for my 6-year-old. And, this on works great for my 8-year-old. It is lightweight, durable and very well constructed. Our barn has an indoor arena, so we don't have the worries of rain and the weather is more moderate. However, these feel very breathable. They have removable padding that you can wash if they get sweaty. This particular color has a metallic colored mesh for the front vents but black mesh for the back vents. They really aren't noticeable though. The color is a flat, matte, black, but these helmets do come in many other colors. The visor is easy to remove and put back on as well. It appears all of these helmets from this brand have a neck strap pad that is easy to use, as well as a thin dust cover you can store your helmet in. I'd still suggest purchasing a helmet bag if you need to carry these to the barn. Note: they are not supposed to be left inside a car. I think this is a great brand. They fit our heads great and securely. They are very adjustable and easy to use. A win all around.

Perfect! Love this for horse riding. So glad I chose it. Looks great & is so comfy, adjusts to fit. Bargain price too. Highly recommend
