I ordered this kit specifically for the silicone sleeve protectors for the metal straws. I use a large stainless steel cup throughout the day, and also keep one next to my bed. The metal straws are easy to clean and reduce needless waste with plastic straws, BUT, the metal hits your teeth too easily. I was concerned I might wind up inadvertently chipping a tooth from the metal straw. The silicone sleeve is easy to fit over the top of the metal straw, and I leave a slight edge of the silicone up above the opening of the metal straw to prevent the metal from touching my teeth in any way. The silicone sleeve comes off easily for cleaning. This kit gives you all you could ask for: • metal straws in short and tall lengths, several of each size, with straight straws, and bent straws to choose from • multiple silicone protective sleeves for the straws, one for each straw in the kit • a pipe cleaner style brush to clean the inside of the metal straws • a convenient cloth bag with drawstring top to keep all the aforementioned pieces together so they’re easily stored and easily located • great price for all that you receive

OK, so these are great straws. Easy to clean, pretty to look at, functional. They do give off a mentality taste, less so when you use the silicone tips. I typically don't use them with the silicone tips because those things slide up and down the straw like crazy, and end up going down my drain when I wash them. However, I've recently been having issues with my lips. I thought I was having cold sores or something. The corners of my lips were sore and cracking. I was getting random red bumps on my lips. And also my 7 year old kept looking like his upper lip was swollen. Today I had an epiphany...I HAVE A NICKEL ALLERGY!! Now, I knew I had a nickel allergy, this is not news to me. I just never thought about the fact that the nickel in the metal straws was causing my issues (and most likely my son's.) So unfortunately I will be re-homing these straws and buying just silicone ones.

You get four different types of straws in this 16 straw pack. You get a set of 8 tall straws that are straight and bent for tall tumblers and a set of 8 short straws that are straight and bent for mugs or wine tumblers. They are well made with a good thickness to the metal for durability. You get 16 silicone tips you have the option to use and four brushes to keep the straws clean. To keep them looking nice and shiny, consider handwashing in mild dishwashing liquid. I highly recommend this product.

I LOVE the straws. They are beautifully colored and easy to clean/sanitize. The lengths and curves are EXCELLENT to meet the various mugs/tumblers I use. The interchangeable tips allows me to be stylish as I change the color of my mug/tumbler daily. The durable storage bag is GREAT for keeping the straws clean, sanitized and together. I totally 💯% recommend the stainless steel straws.

we used to buy the plastic cheap straws and we would constantly run out of them. My kids love the fun colors and they are easy to wash. Very sturdy. Some of the cap parts don't fit properly on the straw and without it the straw can feel cold on your lips/teeth. Also these are very long, I wish these came in a shorter option for my littlest.

My daughter is obsessed with wanting a straw with every drink so was looking for a permanent option instead of going to the store every other week for straws. This comes with the cleaning brush for inside the straws and does clean them good as far as i can tell! the silicone or rubber pieces for the tops of the straws attach and detach easily and no mess! While i haven't tried to see if i can break one with enough force they are not fragile! If looking for a environment friendly option this is it!

It’s been about 3 weeks after I got this and I still love it to this day. It’s really easy to clean and I love all the colors of the silicone caps ☺️. The straws are the perfect length for all my cups and the cleaning tool is really effective. (also the bag doesn’t come with it, I just put my silicone caps in a bag so that I wouldn’t lose them)

These straws are beautiful and durable. The cleaning brushes are great. I was just looking for the cleaning brushes when I came across this set and decided to buy the whole thing. The price is good and the addition of the silicone protective tips was great. I hadn't even thought of buying silicone tips, but now my husband uses them all the time. He gets episodes of tremors and the tips help him to be able to drink during the episodes without potentially injuring his gums or lips. Personally, I love the colors and the sizes and style options (straight or bent) that come in this one kit.
