Easy and accurate
Got this to check angle on saw blades. I thought it would be more magnetic than it is. Doesn’t hang on to blades so have to hold it (yeah blades could be weakly magnetized but whatever the reason). Easy to use and seems to be accurate. Zero it to one surface and measure the surface of interest. Very simple and a lot easier than using carpenter square (and this can be used for any angle, not just 90 and 45). A nice way to confirm what you think you’ve done. Good purchase if angle precision is important

Well worth the money, especially if you don't have the newest equipment.
I bought this product, because I have a really old table saw and it just has hash marks on the side to tell you your angle. There was no way I was trusting those hash marks. It turns our I was right not to, after using this device. The table was close, but I would have cut incorrect angles if I used those marks to set my angle. This device worked well, though. I cranked my blade out to get enough surface area without resting the edge on the teeth. That would have given an incorrect angle. Like I said, my table saw is old and wobbly, but that wasn't a big deal. I just let it find it's own low spot and zeroed the table to there. Then I put the device on the blade. They recommend setting the blade to 90deg off of the table saw, then putting it on the blade and zeroing it out again. I didn't do that. I just subtracted my 15deg bevel from 90deg. The reason is because my table saw wobbles when I'm adjusting it. By leaving it zeroed to the table, I could put the device on the blade, adjust it, then let it find it's center of balance, check that the table was still at zero(taring it if not) then returning it to the blade to make sure it was still 75deg, which is what I was shooting for. All of that sounds complicated, but it's not. This simple device allowed me to make my desired cut with rickety equipment, which is about all I have. Anyone who's cut with such tools knows what I'm talking about. It allowed me to easily make a cut that would have been almost impossible otherwise. This product is ideal for table saws and compound miter saws, but to be honest, I think you could even use it for a circular saw or jigsaw if you used the method above. The important thing is that during your final check, when you zero the base, you don't shift it when moving it from the base to the blade. This product is well worth the money, though.

Good first impression. Seems like good value
I wasn't quite sure about this before ordering as Fakespot doesn't give the reviews a high grade, but the price was right so I went for it. I haven't had an angle gauge before so perhaps I am not the best reviewer but I will give it my best shot. Initial impression Angle gauge did not come with battery. Had to insert a AAA battery in a slot that was easy to open. Feels solid to the touch and buttons with fine. Backlight works as well. Operation Works as described. Turn on, place on your flat surface and press the zero button. That's your reference angle. Then attach to the surface you want to measure. Performance Magnet worked great for attaching to saw blade. Agent is only in the base of the unit. I used it to calibrate my miter saw to 90° and it seemed to perform well for that task. I checked the angle with a square and it seemed accurate. I did not double check the angle using any more advanced method. Resolution was high I was surprised to see the small movements just as I was handling the saw.

Very Convenient and Accurate
This is an easy to use and accurate tool to calibrate and set the angle of the cut on a circular table saw and a miter saw. I love it and wish I had gotten it sooner rather than trying to use T-Squares or other hand tools. One of the better investments I have made in tools to adjust my table and miter saw. It works in the vertices and horizontal positions.

Seems way better than my last other brand one was. Checking against an accurate square it’s bang on. Glad I bought it.

It has a very strong magnet. I haven't had it very long but am pleased with my purchase thus far. I set my saw blade with a square and then zeroed the device and set it on the blade and it was 90.1 so i am good with that. Really nice for the mitre saw which can be a pain to be precise with a square. To keep it handy i just stuck it on the side of my table saw. Seeing a few woodworker youtube reviews of the Wixey gave me the push needed to actually try one.

I use it for setting the angle on my table saw

This solidly built device, with its magnetic base, sticks firmly to my 8" Skywatcher dobsonian telescope. Easy to use, and with a setting circle helps find dark sky objects easily. Because the screen is bright I added some red cellophane for night time use for star gazing. I use the Skyview app on my phone to get the azimuth and altitude settings.
