It's LOUIS L"AMOUR what else is there to say?
Interesting stories that I never knew Louis L'amour wrote, the man was a prolific and a very enjoyable writer. Stories are very thought provoking and entertaining.

Somehow the writing is not as enjoyable as the westerns. Im going to try his crime stories next and see if his feel is just for westerns.

Better than Edgar Allan Poe and O Henry put together. The author's superb description of the wild west as a foreground and backdrop of these stories makes for unbeatable tales in this genre.

Not the typical western cowboy stuff stories from L'Amour, but I liked the narrative anyway. Buy it only if you want to read the other side of Louis Lamour.
