I like the tea kettle because it is light weight, heats up real quick and keeps the water warm for a while so you can go back and get a second cup. The only thing I don't like is that it has already started pitting on the inside of the kettle. I drain it as directed and wipe it dry after each use but it's still pitting.

I have had it a long time. Paint on outside is chipping a little but works well. Cleans well. It is light and heats just fine.i use every day. No leaks. No smell.

Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK. This product deserves a negative rating. This junk was delivered to me on 4/4 and today, 4/14, I was about to pick up the kettle of hot water from the stove, and the handle separated from the metal, completely at the front and almost completely from the back. Had I been able to pick it up I would be in the hospital instead of writing this review, but praise God, I couldn't lift it from the burner because of the separated handle. It seems to have been glued on with a school glue stick. This has got to be the worse purchase I have ever made. I told the CSR that it needs to be reported because it is VERY DANGEROUS. It should be recalled. Country of Origin China. I hope the new tariffs will reduce the number of dangerous, shoddy products we get from this country. I try to find products made in USA but it is difficult. I will try harder. I am getting a refund but I pray that no one will be injured by this product. The nozzle was glued on. Glue and heat? I cannot stress strongly enough, DO NOT BUY THIS KETTLE.

I purchased this to replace my chrome like polished stainless steel teapot that was nearly the same form factor. I prefer the polished stainless to the satin finish, but couldn't find one. This was the closest I came. I forgot to close the whistle on my old one and left it on high heat for a very long time. Scorched it and turned it a dark bronze color. I probably could have fixed that with some motorcycle exhasut pipe cleaner, but the bottom was charred with carbon. So I got this one. It works exactly like the other one, BUT the whistle is much louder. I'm old and trending toward hearing loss so this one is much better than the old one.

Lasted almost year and developed a leak at bottom seam
