Reflective Glass Beads
Bought this product months ago. I recently repainted the address numbers in my driveway. Apply as instructed. It clearly says apply to “wet” paint. I did, but it was a little windy and the paint dried faster than I anticipated. So when I did the second set of numbers, I modified the application. Very, very easy to apply. I simply used a plastic spoon and dusted it onto the wet paint. Move quickly so that it’s applied while the paint is at its wettest. Good results. Slight pressure using the back of the spoon may help it to stick. Good amount is in the bag, so I have plenty left over for the next project. I would definitely repurchase this item!

Great product and price
This product was easy to apply with wet bright yellow rust o lium paint. Very reflective when headlights hit it

Not bad. Good learning experience
I wire brushed 70 yr old, painted metal house numbers and placed the numbers onto a shallow cardboard box. I sprayed with Rustoleum gloss white paint and carefully drizzled the beads out of a pinched plastic bag onto the wet paint. Be very careful when handling so as not to knock off any beads. Some WILL fall off so be sure you are in a controlled area where you can vacuum them up (pets, children...). If I find the need to do this again, or with another house, I will try using brush on, thicker paint (gel?) so as to provide a thicker substrate and foundation for the beads to adhere to. I would also try spray painting with clear finish to help the beads stick and weather more effectively. The newly beaded house numbers are slightly improved in appearance. At night, reflectance is more noticable if the light source closer to perpendicular to the signage. With a flashlight, the glowing effect was much more pronounced and satisfying. Be sure to seal the bottom of the box completely as the beads are very small and will find their way through the smallest opening. Beads are about 10x+ smaller than a BB. The cardboard box will also ampliy the sound of the beads falling and provide audible feedback on the beads adhering vs dislodging. You can also consider working over an old drop cloth to help gather the escaping beads. Avoid dumping into the outdoor environment if at all possible.

Reflective and Easy Enough to Work With.
Not much to say other than these do work as advertised. They are not blindingly reflective but definitely significantly better than white paint alone. My bag arrived ripped with beads leaking out of the box but that's on Amazon, not the product. I used these for a house number plaque and simply painted Elmer's glue over the numbers and then dumped the beads over the plaque. It's been up for weeks and seems to be holding up just fine.

It's like having lighting on my deck.
My backyard deck has two levels, which people would occasionally trip over because they didn't see that the 2nd level is a step down. These glass beads LIGHT UP the step and are VERY effective in low light situations and a lot cheaper than installing deck lighting. In high traffic areas, the beads to need to be reapplied (every 2 years or so), but this is a great product.

Not reflective when adhered with, or embedded in, clear epoxy
The beads look like they would work and be very reflective but I tried to use them in a mailbox sign embedded in clear epoxy. The glass beads totally lose all their reflective properties when they are in epoxy so if you are planning a similar project these beads will not work as you expect.

Best reflective product
I bought this as I was painting parking lanes for a customer's business, and it worked perfectly. Customer was extremely happy with such high quality reflectivity. They were surprised I could achieve such amazing results. Paint was way more reflective than any city road paint, and they do a pretty solid job. Very simple to use, as soon as you've sprayed the paint, carefully sprinkle a thin layer of glass beads over top, before paint dries, and before removing your template. Use a template, because any spilt glass beads are reflective too. Highly reflective.

Larger than I thought
Not right for small projects. I had 2" aluminum letters I painted and wanted to be reflective. I will be starting over because the beads are not proportional to the letters. What I had on them before was half this size. Good product, nice packaging, ensure you know the size you need.
