I have many knives but there was one that I used for almost everything and I managed to lose it somehow over Christmas. This replacent is virtually the same but even better - and sharper - than my old favourite! It’s also really comfortable to handle. Thank you Amazon.

It's versatile, easy to use, good to chop certain vegetables but I love it. It's always sharp and very good value for money. I recommend it.

Best knife I have purchased

Knife is good - exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately the delivery wasn't great. The driver wanted to know the date of birth of the person that ordered it. I said I'm not giving you that as you will have my address, date of birth and a photo of the house you just took. It sounded like an attempt at fraud. In future just ask for the age of the recipient not the date of birth please!

Very nice knife just noticed that you need to wash it and dry it straight away or it may get marks and rust.

Very sharp so great for cutting veg etc

I bought this to replace the much appreciated Kitchen Devil I bought in the UK during the 80's since the Devil is now made in China and this looks more like their old model. Well this is not a well engineered approximation of that old knife. Basic Tomato Test: I believe the teeth on the cutting edge are angled in such a way that the knife never cuts/slices like a normal utility knife but has to be used with a sawing motion. It grabs the tomato skin instead of cutting into it. I'll give it one extra star for still being made in Sheffield. ETA: I changed my initial impression and upped the stars. It may just need some breaking in or the old one was dulled over time and behaved differently.
