Setup ok right from the box. Intonation and action is very good albeit fret ends to have a slight pinch, but for the price you can't expect more. Overall good sound and a very playable instrument. Strings do need to be eased in as with all nylon strings but you get there in the end with progressive tuning. Great value overall and the tuner (which works really well) is an added bonus. Thanks to the people who built it.

Looks nice, difficult to tune, doesn’t stay in tune but with time should hold tune better the more it’s played. Case is flimsy and offers no protection. Auto tuner is quite good.

My dad had a Mahalo soprano uke which he found a little too small to learn on. We bought this Tenor model instead and haven't been disappointed. It's a good size and has a nice, warm tone.The instrument is well-made and has an attractive finish. Most importantly, it has metal machine heads which allow much more tuning stability than the basic models with plastic pegs.The included accessories are welcome and I particularly like the clip-on tuner. Anyone new to the instrument should be made aware it needs to be set to chromatic 'C' mode before tuning the uke.

I wanted to try to learn to play the Ukelele but didn’t want to spend big money for something I might not get on with. Mahalo are known for beginners instruments so I gave it a try. I.m really happy with what I got, a lovely little instrument that sounds nice. It comes with good strings, not bargain basement ones (and spares). The tuner works fine, I checked it out with a good tuner app online.So for a woman with small hands or a child I would highly recommend this as a good starter set for the absolute beginner.I would also recommend you splash out on a buttonless strap, it’s a slippery little sucker, if you’re not concentrating holding it you can focus more on learning to play it. Don’t be disheartened by it keep going out of tune, this is normal until the strings stretch and settle, not a fault with the uke. Have fun, £30 well spent.

I got this product for my 4 year old friend. Before giving it to her I played it for 2 months and loved it. Decent sound quality considering how inexpensive it is.I have since got a concert size from a different brand and am far less happy with that one which cost more than this.I would definitely recommend this for beginners and was also very happy playing it as an adult.

Mahalo make the best Ukulele and this is nato wood ,the sound is pretty on the mid and bass end. But when Playing chords it's a perfect balance.

Ich habe diese Ukulele als totaler Anfänger gekauft, um daran Kinderlieder zu spielen. Mit sehr sanften Tönen begeistert mich und mein Baby diese Ukulele. Ausserdem ist es quasi unzerstörbar, obwohl das Kind alles mögliche an der Ukulele probiert. Klarer Preis/Leistung Empfehlung, ideal für Anfänger!
