Seriously, this bag is HUGE. Since they're so big and I'm not, I don't really use the strap, but the bag itself is very sturdy and I wrap the strap around the top of the bag for extra leverage. My boyfriend uses the strap to sling one bag over his shoulder and carry a second one. These bags can be washed with your laundry, but drying them makes the lettering come off a bit. I have two of these bags, and I've used them maybe 5 times so far and they still look brand new.

I noticed no smell when opening the package, although the manufacturer said that there could be one. I bought it as a gift for my son who brings his laundry to my home because he has no washer or dryer of his own. He always uses garbage bags so I thought this would make a much better alternative. I was pleasantly surprised at how large it is. I'm hoping it holds up to the amount of laundry the boy totes here, but the side strap should make that job much easier. It seems sturdy enough and I'm sure he will get a chuckle out of the design.

This first time I used this, I loaded it half full of t-shirts, threw it over my shoulder and I heard the strap pop. It is only a matter of time before the stitching undoes itself completely. At the top of the bag, the strap is attached in two rows of stitches, and one row comes undone with little force. The best use for this bag is large, light items like beach towels or a comforter. Oh yeah, the bag hangs down to your ankles with a long shoulder strap with no adjustment feature and the top pops open if the bag has any weight hanging in it.

Very nice, large, heavy duty bag with shoulder strap. I am keeping it in my suitcase, to slowly transfer my dirty clothes into as I travel. It is big enough to actually put all my suitcase contents into if need be, which is awesome. Another note, it is a good thickness canvas. Thick enough to hold odor, but thin enough to fold small. I have no reason to "sell" this bag, it is just a nice one. Will most likely buy a couple more to keep at home.

(Updated review - 18 July 2015) North Sea sent an e-mail indicating that they had had a bad run with the manufacturer and sent a replacement. The replacement seems fine. (Original review) Removed laundry bag from plastic wrap. Filled the bag about half-full with not-terribly-heavy t-shirts. Lifted bag. Reinforced strap came right off...but cleanly! My wife laughed her fool head off at me and mocked me for my poor purchasing decision. Aside from that, the bag is large and seems pretty sturdy. If I can figure out how to attach the strap properly, it will be fine. Gonna have to learn to sew, I guess.

Bought this bag for my son to use at camp and it worked wonderfully. It has a sturdy strap which was great for hanging it over the bunk bed. It is nice and big so it fit all his dirty clothes, towels, and sheets with room to spare. Will use it for our family when we travel. Would be perfect for college kids as well.

This felt like a quality item. It had all the features I was looking for: a laundry bag with a draw string and backpack strap. It's also a cute bag! However, I couldn't get over how HUGE this bag was! This may be a good or bad thing depending on one's preference. I'm short (5'2") so the bag wasn't a good fit for me. I ended up returning it for something smaller.

I like the material/color of the bag and the design on it makes me laugh. The shoulder strap seems sturdy enough, but can hurt a bit when the bag is filled to the brim because it's not very wide. Unfortunately, the drawstring stopper that is supposed to keep the bag closed is not strong enough to stay put when you carry the bag over your shoulder, even with a reasonable amount of laundry in the bag, and gives way/opens up. The stopper needs to be heavy duty to keep the bag from opening due to it's own weight. If it actually stayed closed, I'd easily give 4-5 stars.
