Great quality, cushioning is ample for yoga and stretching. I use everyday, twice a day, and it holds up well, and then rolls up tight, for storage. I highly recommend.

I have several mats but over the past year I had an injury that made my previous mats very uncomfortable for me when spending more than 15 minutes on the floor. I went in search of another mat and based on my experience with Airex balance mats, I started there because I knew the company was concerned about quality and durability. I specifically was searching for the most cushioned thick mat I could find within reason. I mean I wanted to be able to roll it up and put it away when not in use. I quickly decided on this mat and couldn't be happier. It is more than worth the money. It is the most comfortable mat I have ever used and enhances my workouts of all types including extended yoga sessions. I can now do far more exercise than I was able to do previously because it just makes everything more comfortable and when you are relaxed and pain free, you can just do more. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this mat to anyone needing a highly cushioned yet stability enhancing mat. I especially would recommend this mat to those who are or have been in rehabilitation which makes floor exercise more difficult than it used to be.

I was hesitant purchasing this Mat as it is certainly more expensive then most. I was also unsure if I really needed the extra length being only 5’8”. However, I’m pleasantly surprised how good this mat really is. It’s definitely thicker then any other mat I’ve used at the gym. It’s soft but not too soft. You can feel it’s firmness without it feeling hard. The length is perfect as it gives you additional space to move around.

I wanted to replace the doubled yoga mats that I had always used for Pilates. This mat is superior to that solution and I love it for home use. Definitely get the longer version even if you are short like me because Pilates uses a lot of stretched out exercises.The one thing you should know is that the mat is stretchy (not slippery, but stretchy) on a wood floor. This makes certain poses, eg plank and down dog quite inconvenient because you have to constantly adjust your body as the mat stretches out underneath you.I deducted 1/2 a star for the annoying stretchiness and 1/2 star for the very expensive price.

My Airex XL Exercise Mat arrived today and it is definitely the best exercise mat I have seen anywhere. The quality, the thickness, everything about this mat is first rate. Airex quality is definitely the highest quality. It is worth the price 100%. I am an independent personal trainer and I will use this for myself and for clients.

Perfect whether you are using a foam roller, a band, weighted ball or Dumbbells. Enough cushion without being "squishy". These are used in a gym I go to where they get a lot of use and still hold up very well. So I bought one for my home for my workouts aimed at stretching, core strength, balance and isolated rotation. Swiss made. Love it!

Why is there a weird logo on this mat? I paid a premium for this and there's stupid logo on it?
