Hayden Automotive 2705 Premium Fan Clutch

I think this clutch probably works just fine, but I want to forewarn others in my situation. If you are replacing your radiator and the new one is even a little thicker than the original, be very careful to make sure that this clutch fits between your water pump pulley and the new radiator. This clutch is about .025 inches longer than the original clutch, in my case it put the fan on the radiator so I could not use it. I was installing in a 1977 international Scout which amazon claims is a fit with this clutch, if I had put it on the with the factory radiator it probably would have been ok, though very close to the radiator. I was using a new radiator that amazon said would fit, and it did, but it was maybe a half inch thicker than the old one. I am probably gonna be forced to go electric with my fan now.Short answer it would fit with a factory setup, but beware with an aftermarket setup.

The media could not be loaded.  The fan clutch lasted about 500mil. And know it won't engage and truck runs hot so this is not the clutch me.

The clutch on my 1969 Camaro was leaking and no longer functioning properly. Found this on Amazon for significantly less than the parts store. It looked just like my old one, it bolted right up, and has been working perfectly. The old one lasted 12 years, I hope this one does too.

I needed a new fan clutch for my '85 CJ7 Jeep because the original one is already 35 years old & worn out. It fit but is just a 1/4 inch shorter than stock which is fine. The old fan clutch was a little too close to the bigger radiator I installed so I'm happy there's a bit more room now. I hope this one will last 35 years!

I got the wrong one but they refunded money right away so no complaints!

This clutch did not come with the 4 studs, nuts and lockwashers for the fan itself to bolt on, which is fine no problem right? So I'l just remove the factory studs out of the old clutch and use them except for the old original studs are 5/16 x 24 thread and the tapped holes on the new clutch assembly are 5/16 x 18 thread. I think its better to have 24 thread for this purpose. So now I have to search around and find me some threaded rod and make my own...I haven't got it installed yet so cant comment on its functionality....
