Do not buy!
If you are thinking about buying this book think again, the book is not genuine and is missing content which proves it’s a replica. My lecturer at college had a look at my book and said there is information missing. Therefore I advise anyone buying this book to get it of the official IET website.

Not Impressed
Currently studying City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical Installation and this book seems to be either missing certain information or not quite the right information in it. Definitely not as good as the 17th Edition version

Deeply disappointed with IET
After owning the book for months now and using it in working environment I must say I am deeply disappointed in the quality design of this book, it’s made rubbishly, it’s expensive and trade related so one would expect a solid built book that lasts. This flimsy little book slowly falls apart. Pages literally falls and ripping off which are so important. Deeply disappointed and expect better from IET in future designs.

Not A4
The book is published in B5 (I think) so the font size is small and readability is less than it would be for an A4 book. The quality of printing is good though and the small size makes it more portable, I guess.

It's every sparkies portable bible
The official code of practice if working on site for all sparks. Though not as in depth as BS:7671 it will cover everything related to the job that you'll be exposed to on a regular basis. It's also something that you should have on you by right in case of reference. With that said i can't give it 5 stars because it's not in a soft or hard cover format so you can easily damage and tear the pages so it won't last very long if you're on the field doing jobs.
