what’s their shelf life?

I plan to keep mine like you would dried lung, tripe or pizzle as they are usually quite stinky... sealed airtight and cool dark place where rats can’t get to them. If on parr with those types then a year easily. Will update when I can. They may have a once opened use by on them; if so will again update.

Approximately how many ears are in a kg?

Each ear weighs between 7g and 15g in my bag, with most being 10/12g, so without counting I'd say approximately 80 to 90 years per bag.

How many and how often can the ears be fed

This is personal choice and depends on your dog's diet. I have large dogs, 30kg and 40kg, on raw diet, and feed as part of balanced diet as treats 3 or 4 times a week. If you are unsure about your dog's diet then I'd speak to a canine nutritionist.

A 1kg bag lasts us about 3 months and they certainly keep fine for that long and I’m sure they’d keep longer too, I just cut open the top of the bag and then fold over and stick down. They would keep well in a sealed storage box too
