My son had chewed through his entire school wardrobe. He is on jumper number 7. So I thought I'd give these a go and he's loves them! At first sight he thought they looked great and wanted to wear it straight away. After telling him they are to chew on if he feels the need he was even more pleased! We have just had a whole day at school with a new jumper. Until yesterday I would dread pick up, to see the extent of the damage and if its another jumper thrown away or maybe I could sew or salvage some of the sleeves.. It was becoming a nightmare, toys were getting chewed too! 24 hours in with this chew necklace and we have had ZERO CHEWING!!!! apart from the necklace. Thankyou!!! Not as chunky as I thought they would be.Didn’t last very long but my little girl chews a lot. so great if your child is a mild / med chewer but not if they chew a lot

i bought these because im autistic and it helps prevent me from self harming. ive had them for a few days now and i must admit theyre great and theyve helped a lot. the problem is the durability. the photos dont give me much justice but it was hard to show however after only a few days of chewing on them they have a few holes and rips. it isnt enough for it to be useless but it is worrying. granted i do have sharper canines but i temd to chew the ribbed side with my bottom set of teeth and a rip has managed to come through. dont let this stop you buying them though, they are nice and it could just be me, plus these are the cheapest options available.edit : a day later and it is WRECKED both ends are ripped, the thread has come apart and wonr attach anymore and I keep managing to swallow small parts of the chew

I bought these for my autistic granddaughter and she uses them all the time, they are great as no parts have broken off so far, I felt it was real value for money getting 3 in a packet and it means you can leave one at home, 1 at nursery and 1 at her grandparents house so there is always one close by

Do not use for teething babies! This can make them gag and choke gobsmacked Amazon is asking about that! This is a sensory toy for an older child not a teething babies do not make the mistake of using it as such, however as a correct sensory tool for those on the spectrum this is ideal also sterilised them or atleast put them in hot soapy water each night and thouroghly wash off soapDO NOT USE FOR BABIES TEETHING CHOKING AND STRANGULATION HAZARD!

I purchased these for myself - I'm on the Autism spectrum and find myself chewing on my fingers and lips a lot when I'm stressed, bored or concentrating (basically all the time). The chewies are of a decent size, small enough to carry inconspicuously but a big enough size to be able to use relatively comfortably. I chew moderately intensely, although these chewing 'sessions' can last anywhere from a few seconds to an hour or more at a time. In the first few days, I was quite pleased with it. I tended to chew mostly on the flat sides rather than the Textured top/bottom, although they're nice to have for that extra Sensory input. I noticed yesterday that one of my teeth was almost getting a little bit stuck, upon further inspection there was a small hole that had been pierced in the side, although it didn't seem to go too deep. Today, however, there's are two massive rips in the silicone. So much so that my teeth get caught and it puts me off whatever I'm doing. So far I've only been using the one, so I've got two left to use, but for it to only have lasted the best part of 4-5 days, I would probably go with something more robust and heavy duty next time.
