KOHLER 2967-BR1 20" W x 26" H Bathroom Medicine Cabinet with Framed Mirror Door, Recessed or Surface Mount Bathroom Wall Cabinet, Oil-Rubbed Bronze

Upgrading my master bath a little at a time. Had seen cabinet with mirrored interior at a relative's house and loved it. My bath already had traditional fixtures in oil rubbed bronze. Most cabinets with mirrored interiors are frameless and very modern looking which would not work for me. Found this one online via a Big Box retailer and then found cheaper on Amazon and with Prime no cost shipping! Bought two of them. The cabinets are beautiful. Very well made and super sturdy. They look and function wonderfully. The inside mirror is terrific. I can use the inside of the front door to apply makeup while accessing my products from the shelves. If I open the hubby's cabinet too, I can see the back of my hair from one inside door to the other. Word of caution on mounting. These come with suface mounting hardware which is basically a short (probably 10") piece of metal with a right angle, and two clips for the top corners. Each item is meant to screw into the wall. They suggest hitting studs, or using hollow wall anchors. With the width of the cabinet at 20" there is no way more than one wall studs could be at the upper corner. With the length of the angle bracket it is not possible to span two studs with it either. These cabinets are heavy and I would not trust any hollow wall anchor to secure them enough. I had a carpenter come frame recessed areas for my cabinets. I had a vent pipe and electrical that had to be rerouted. End result is a wonderful installation but the labor involved ended up matching the cost of the two cabinets. I'm sure a lot of people have adequate DIY skills to do the framing to recess these as if your wall doesn't have surprises inside like mine, it is a pretty simple job. The instructions do show how it should be framed. At eh end of the day, it was well worth it. Love them!!

I ordered two of these for a large master bath. They were a little expensive for my budget, but I found these cabinets to be high quality and solidly crafted. Importantly, they have adequate depth to be fully functional as storage cabinets, while also being elegantly designed and well-crafted. The 3 glass shelves are adjustable, so based on what you have to put inside you can make them as high as you need them (yes!). My mom warned me about making sure cabinet depths were sufficiently deep. This turns out to be a pretty important feature...if you actually want to put things inside the cabinet! It led me Kohler, instead of some cheaper knock-off brands and, boy, am I glad I opted to pay a little more and go with them. They are deep enough to fit a lot of items inside and the quality of materials and finishing is impeccable. I particularly like the fact that there are mirrors on the inside of the door, as well as behind the shelves, in addition to the front of the cabinet. All these mirrors bring a generous amount of light and functionality - as you can open and apply face creams without having to close the door to see the mirror, for example. I hadn't really considered this beforehand, but using these cabinets it's become my favorite feature. Another big plus was the ability to choose which direction you have the doors open. This makes the cabinets very user friendly and able to be customised to your particular needs and preferences. They seem designed for outside wall mount (with side mirrors so it looks like a mirror box). But I opted to have the cabinets embedded in the wall, so it looks more like a framed mirror that lies flat on the wall. The silver edges of the inside cabinet stand out with this kind of mounting, which I guess is non-standard....it looks a little weird if you're a stickler for clean design (as there are also grey plastic edges on the door that distract from a cleaner all-metal look). It bugs me a little to be honest, but not enough to have gone with the outside mounting, which would have cluttered my bathroom. The bronze finish of the frame looks authentically bronzed, with shiny bronze details standing out on a darker surface, not like some cheap homogenous overlay paint. It works very nicely in a rubbed bronze or antique decor. I was pretty particular with my needs and wanted something that would last, so I'm happy to report very satisfied with these cabinets would not hesitate to recommend to others.

I love these cabinets! I bought them in silver in 2017 for a master bathroom remodel. I moved and just remodeled the master bathroom and got them again in the bronze. They're well made and mirrored inside too. This time I had them wall mounted rather than inset and Love the mirrored trim comes with them. It reflects the tile and looks great!

frame is plastic and so are sides but nice. fast and safe shipping new in box by amazon. best price here. its a bronze color. only 2 glass shelves. not as big and deep as more expensive models but for the price this is worth it! great for a guest bathroom! has mirror inside too. right or left open. not hard to install esp if you wall mount it. but easy to cut a whole in drywall and mount onto 2x4's. maybe you need a handy person to do that though so everything is finished and square. i like it. thank you!

I bought two, put them side by side with no gap in between and both doors can open no problem. The decoration around the mirrors looks hand made, very classy. The cabinets are very well made, nothing flimsy or cheap used to produce them. Plenty of room on the adjustable glass shelves. I had a contractor instal it - the 2 took him about an hour. It is a Kohler masterpiece. A year has passed and I am still extremely happy with this purchase. The cabinets hold well, and look still brand new, no spotting, etc on the mirrors.

Beautiful and elegant that makes the bathroom decor stand out. Instructions were clear and all the items needed were inside the box and well wrapped. Not much is required to assemble as long as you read the instructions carefully. I bought 2 and another is on the way. For the price and quality of the product, it deserves a 5 star. We installed this as part of our renovations in the bathroom. Having an older house some additional tools were required to make this a simple install. Installation time ~ 4 hrs since it was a replacement for one that had a different size opening necessitating additional framing for mounting. Multi-purpose Tool Sawzall ( reciprocating saw )

This medicine cabinet fits well with our decor in both our bathrooms so we have 2 of them. Our only problem is that we found the shelves too narrow
