Well, we did not use them as tent stakes, we used them around the base of a Angel Christmas decoration in our yard and they worked perfectly! Long and sturdy!

Love the strength and quality of this stake. Best I’ve used and will continue to use. Used it for camping, holding inflatables under crazy windy conditions. It’s as solid as they can make it. Single piece without any plastics.

Good quality at a decent price. Worked great for holiday inflatables. Remember when driving them at angles keep the head pointed away from the inflatable for the best hold!

So the spikes they give you with your tent or absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe they even bother putting them in the bag. Like seriously they're that bad right?! So I'm extremely glad that I found these steaks. They are definitely thick and heavy duty. I use them for the last time over Labor Day and with the good mallet was able to pound them into the ground easy peasy. Although she'll be fair it was decent ground with a lot of grass, I don't yet know what it would be like in a more barren dry dirt. I would give these five stars however the plastic colored pieces on top I can tell will definitely break in time. I'm not saying they're horrible quality I'm just saying they're not fantastic quality either, so you definitely got a dock of star for that. However I'm not sure that you'll find better out there. And I had bought a mallet with a supposed stake removal end piece... That was a laughing joke. Honestly the best way to pull the stakes out for me so far has been just to grab them with your hands and just kind of twist as you're pulling out, pulling straight out didn't work. But I guess that's because they work! Which is good to know because if we have another wind storm as happened earlier this year at a reservoir when we went camping, our tent would have taken off and who knows where it would have gone had a friend not been at camp to keep it there lol!

Use these for my holiday decorations works great with a bungee cord or a rope

Sturdy, solid, durable. These are probably the last tent stakes I’ll ever need to buy. So much better thank the short plastic ones I’ve had forever. They’re substantial long and weighty), so I wouldn’t take them backpack camping—but for car camping they’re perfect.

So I had been buying the tent pegs that had the plastic top, now while the metal spike held up really well that stupid plastic part always broke. Welcome to a real tent stake. These are all metal, they have a nice cleat on the top for wrapping your tent line around and a solid head so you can pull it out of the ground with a claw hammer. I bought one box of these to try them out. I liked them so much I have since tossed all the other ones I had and replaced them with these and it is so much better. They are nice and long so they get a lot of contact with the ground and stay where you put them, they held my tent down in 35mph winds with no problems.

Using them to hold down my driveway tarp and they are doing an excellent job. Nice and long and durable to pound in through the packed granular A , so you folks looking for them to hold down tents etc should have no problem.

These pegs are great! We’re never going back to those flimsy ones that come with the rent. The pegs are large and heavy (for pegs), so they wouldn’t be my first choice for backpacking, but for front-country camping the are fantastic. We experienced high winds on our last trip and our tents didn’t budge! For the price these pegs cannot be beat!
