Absolutely amazing
OMG. I am the official birthday cake baker for my grandsons age 6 and 4. It’s something we do together. I never dreamed the powdered sugar we used made a difference. But let me tell you it does. This year he surprised me with wanting a Hot-wheels cake under the fondant is the smoothest creamiest chocolate frosting you can only imagine. The cake was a hit and the couple of children he was allowed to have this year all wanted more. From now on I will always have it on hand. Well worth the money and the smiles on my grandchildren faces as they licked the beaters.

No need to use Too much Can be used in everything.
Love this product well packed I have used India tree for years but not from Amazon. Highly recommend it. Use it over a fruit fruit salad making lemon juice you name it I use it. Because it is ground so finally you do not need anything like as much sugar to make the sweet taste on fruit and it blends well with cream when you whip it and also make meringues with it.

Loving It!
Great product. Absolutely necessary if you want silky smooth frosting. Regular confectioners sugar always has that gritty, chalky texture. This sugar is ground infinitely finer than confectioners sugar making it silkier. I believe this company does not process its sugar through animal bone char for purification which is a plus if you are vegan. It is really pricey so maybe you will reserve it for special occasion desserts, but after you've used this type of icing sugar you just can't abide that other stuff.

Note: recipe calls for 1.25 packages worth
I love India Tree and wish this was organic and non-GMO. However for occasional use I will overlook that. India Tree fondant sugar is 100 times finer than regular powdered sugar and that does make a difference in icings and other decorations. I used it for royal icing on sugar cookies. One caveat: I was really annoyed that their recipe calls for 1 lb. or 1.25(!!) packages of the stuff meaning you have to buy 2 packages worth. Why on earth don't they provide a recipe for a single package of fondant sugar rather than 1.25??? I don't usually need a calculator when I follow a recipe so that was really annoying. And don't bother substituting regular powdered sugar to make up the difference ~ your icing tip will clog, clog, clog.

Able to make it work but it is full of hard clumps
I made a cake today and made frosting with the last bit of powdered sugar I had from the grocery store, and then the rest with this sugar - I could see the difference in how finely powdered it was. But, unlike the grocery store brand, this one is full of hard clumps, some of them pretty large - like dime sized - and so it took extra mixing to dissolve them. The good thing is, because it is so fine, the clumps did eventually dissolve, with extra effort. So I will continue to use this sugar that I bought - a 2 pack - until it is gone. But wouldn't buy again

It's sugar
I bought this sugar to use in cooking, icing, and general baking. I needed something with a bit better quality then I could find locally. With regard to the India Tree Fondant & Icing Sugar, it has a nice, sweet taste and, once sifted, is great for baking.

Definitely worth the money
I LOVE how this is packaged in smaller packs. I hate opening a big bag because where I live it is extremely humid. This has saved me from wasting a lot of product. Will buy again

Rocky consistency but excellent results
Every package I have ever used of this item comes out super rocky that you MUST sift it before using. But I also experienced that with another companies ultra fine baking sugar, so it may be a side effect of the granules being so tiny. Although I'm disappointed about the out of bag consistence, the results are phenomenal, especially in a frosting.
