Perfect and does the job
I buy these all the time for the lads to use on Quartz Drainer Grooves (to smooth them out before fitting)

Extremely Fast Wearing stones
The rougher grit stones in this set barely survived one use. The material peeled off the stones. I have other sets of narrow stones that have lasted for several years, on axes, knives, secateurs and other edged tools. These lasted, for the rougher grits, for one use. And left huge amounts of material on the blade.

Good quality! But!
If you know how to handle small oil stones you'll be fine and they seem of good quality (I'm a former engineer). If you haven't used these before use great caution as they are very brittle and break easily, but that is just the nature of these items as they're all like that at this size! I've used mine quite a lot since perchasing them and am very happy!

If you have the right application to use these on, they're awesome.

Well priced stones, I am currently using them set into a wood block. They are handy to take a sheep edge off things I have been cutting.

I used these stones in a less than conventional way. They are very effective for flattening a bevel when making knives.
