It's the best, what more can you ask for? Cleans the gun more than adequately. It won't get the real stubborn stuff, but that's not really what this is for anyways. It's perfect for a good field cleaning

Does what it says. Quickly cleans bore in one or two passes. I like it can be washed as required.

Hoppes is the original boresnake manufacturer, and their quality shows. You could pay less for cheap, no-name snakes, but why bother? I have only had one instance where I snapped a cord on a Hoppes boresnake, but that was out of about seven snakes I own in rifle calibers and shotgun all shotgun gauges and use for over two decades. Buy one for both your bench and your range bag.

This works. The handle design makes it hard to remove bore snake from the case. Absorbs cleaners well.
