Travelon Anti-Theft Heritage Small Crossbody Bag

I love this purse for travel. It is roomy enough to carry needed items but not to big and cumbersome. I bought another bag with the anti theft material but it was very slippery and I did not like that it would slip off your seat when not using it. This bag is made of canvas and is very durable. I love that the zippers lock to the bag so pick pocketers can not get inside. The inside is lined with the anti theft protection material so no one can scan your credit cards. Highly recommend this purse.

This purse accompanied me on a trip to Paris. It gave me piece of mind. In public, I was able to secure the zippers and because of the construction of it, I don't have to clutch my bag. Even since returning home, I have continued to use it because it really is the perfect bag. A couple outside pockets makes it perfect to hold an extra charging battery in front and personal things such as lotion or lip balm in back. This will continue being my travel purse, for sure!!

Mixed feelings about this crossbody bag…. The fabric of the bag was not as expected; it is more like heavy denim than canvas. There are marks in the fabric, like nail scratches or having scraped against something. Is that because it was used and returned, or just manufacturing/handling? Either way, the purse looked like it would not wear well due to these marks. I was disappointed in the fabric, but not the purse design. The features of the bag (RFID, pockets, zippers and zipper locks, overall size) are fantastic for a day bag or travel. I would have loved this bag if it were made in a ballistic nylon material. Maybe a lighter color (I purchased and returned the Indigo (dark blue) would not have shown these same marks on the fabric, but I don’t have good luck with light colored purses. I’ve rated it 4 stars for the design and style.

Fantastic bag! It’s cute and smart-looking, lightweight and has a lot of compartments for organization that help me get to my items quickly. The clips and RFID are useful additional pluses. I definitely use the clips when my surroundings are crowded, especially in airports. I have dozens of handbags but I’ve had this bag for a year and I absolutely love it and carry it all of the time whether it matches or not. That’s how attached to it I’ve become. Also, I’m a plus size woman and the strap is more than adequate and easy to adjust which I do often. It’s a great buy and you won’t be disappointed.

Attractive and well made. This is a comfortable bag and I feel very secure due to the safety features. The safety latches are in a convenient location and easy to hook and unhook. The pockets and interior features are well thought out. Size wise, this a Goldilocks bag...not too big, not too small, but just right!

I got this specific bag because I had been on the hunt for something anti theft, has a separate pouch that can fit a phone (separate from the main compartment), is not too deep (items get lost in the bottom), not too heavy (will hurt your neck and shoulder over time), and not too big (again, things will get lost and the bigger the bag, the more I will fill it). I have gone through a Sherpani, multiple Baggalini’s, and a few Travelon’s. Besides the Sherpani, they are all bags that I would use, depending on the circumstance. If I needed a small backpack for a track meet or event, I would use my Baggalini anti theft, but it’s too big to carry around for everyday use. The sling bag came close, but it was also bigger than I needed and I had to dig around too much for smaller items. I got the dark khaki-ish color (on clearance), and while quite ugly (IMO), it’s very nondescript and unlikely to be targeted for theft. So that’s a bonus. It fits my phone in the front zippered section, my mini calendar in the rear zippered section, my keys and AirPod case on the outside connected by carabiners, and inside the main compartment I can fit 2 lip glosses and a lip stick, a pack of gum, a plastic case filled with floss picks, a tissue packet, travel lotion, a mirror, my Benadryl tabs, my coach’s pass, and a travel perfume. And I put cash and my checkbook on the inside zippered section. That may seem like a lot, but I have had a whole lot more in other bags, which makes them heavy and cluttered. Anyway, the size is perfect with room to spare. I also like the ‘ruggedness’ of the bag. It feels well made. Only time will tell, but I’d get the blue bag of the price dropped. And if they make a black one, I’d get that too.

This is a fantastic bag - well constructed, good travel size, really well thought out safety features. It worked great on our overseas trip - and my husband wore it as well! The only issue - and it's a big one - is that one of the safety locks broke (during our first trip!) and no longer secures the main zipper. So it's really not an anti-theft bag anymore - just a nicely sized travel bag. Very disappointing - we're going to need to take it to a local luggage repair shop in order to (hopefully) repair it.

This is one of the best Anti-theft purses I have found. It’s durable for the winter months and the perfect size. My iPhone 13 Pro fits in the front zipper area for easy access. I don’t carry a lot of items so all the areas/compartments worked well for me. And I love the color. This will be perfect for my trip to Europe, I will not need to worry about my purse being a target for thieves.

Smart & rugged, well planned design

Fijne tas, iets te klein voor mij, het kan als ik de inhoud aan pas. Materiaal vind ik wat minder. Prima bij denim kleding enz. Bij zeer nette kleding vind ik het minder. Geen aparte pasjes vakjes. Achter rits niet weggewerkt, wel zijn alle ritsen beveiligd. Leuke binnenbekleding en Rifd vak. Voor vak ideaal voor huissleutel enz. Foto’s zijn na enige tijd gebruik.

It's ok but looked to have been used! I needed it for a trip so I kept it anyway. The size is good for everyday and I like the anti-theft clips and RIFD inside pocket with a zipper, so it works. Just wish it looked new instead of "used vintage"
