The blades on the file are built nicely. After many uses since my initial purchase of this item, thr blades have yet to dull. It makes for a perfect solution for foot care. In comparison to electric models, this one is exhausting to use by hand, however I know that without batteries it is super reliable, travel friendly, and will see many uses to come. Awesome product.
