Purchased TWO sets, one green and one purple, Set of 2 EZ Steppers (Green) / Set of 2 EZ Steppers (Purple) , as Christmas gifts for a 5-year-old and a 4-year-old. Both kids were happy with their gifts and were able to walk on them, once I showed them how to place their feet and hold the ropes. These will be better at their own home, as they have more carpet than we do. They would definitely not work well on wood floors and would be dangerous, but they will be great fun on the carpet AND outside, once spring arrives! These are a great, simple, very sturdy, skill-building toy and will bring many hours of fun!

These are a lot of fun,. I have a very active four year old, and she just won't leave these things alone. they are really cute little stilt-like things for her to use around the house. It seems like they are going to help her with balancing, but be warned that your kid will certainly fall off a few times. No tears here, but I keep a good eye on her to make sure she stays away from things that could hurt her when she looses her balance. They are really well made, with thick plastic cups that should stand up to any reasonable use by a kid (not a 150 lb adult. . . duh), and the rope handles are good quality material that I adjusted with a simple knot. I highly recommend this toy if the parent is willing to give some encouragement and supervise. May be easier to fall if used in grass.

My four year old used some like these at church and each time I went to get her, she was on them. So, I decided to look for some for home use. I ordered these and I'm very pleased with the purchase. They are small and light for her to handle easily. The cords that come with the stilts are long, in my mind, too long for a small child to use so I tied a knot inside the bucket to grab about 16 inches overall (8 inches in height) and she can now maneuver with ease. The stilts have a thick lip on the bottom that prevents the bucket from collapsing. I even got on them (240 lbs), couldn't help it and held up just fine. Inexpensive, simple, no batteries, no cords, no power, easy to clean, tons of fun either indoor or outdoor. Great job!

This is such a simple toy but my kids love it! They seem to be well made and even support me walking around on them. The price seems a little high (~$13) for what they are, so I'm only buying one set.

I purchased these for some very active boys that I had in my classroom. These steppers are great for developing gross motor skills and for children who need to channel their energy into something positive. The boys loved having to balance on them and the strings were the perfect length. They can also be adjusted if you cut the yarn and tie a new knot inside the stepper. The steppers are the perfect hight for any child ages 3+. I was concerned about them falling but they are not high enough to really hurt themselves. I also compared prices to many others and these are the best bang for your buck! Last thing I want to mention is the quality of the steppers. They are nice and sturdy. The plastic is very thick and so is the yarn. We used these inside the classroom but they could be used outside too!

The product seems very well made. I'm sure the grandchildren will love them. However, the way the description was written and also the price, I guess I assumed I was getting two pair, not just two stompers.
