Zpagetti Grey Cotton T-Shirt Yarn - 120M 700g

i bought this as I was making a handbag and ran out of yarn. The yarn is much larger than the one in the kit so I can make many other things with it. For this yarn, I used a large crochet hook and followed a pattern. It is easy to crochet with. Nice to use and hold. Of course, it crochets up very quickly.

I got this to make a basket for my wool and to do Bookstagram pictures- it is now a cat bed/ basket as the little monkeys who have never slept in an actual cat bed have decided to claim it. It’s weighty and even though there are places that are thinner than others it is easy to work into crochet without being seen. I found this to be easier and quicker to use than I anticipated. I will definitely get more for future projects.

I absolutely love this stuff!! I crochet with it. I can’t understand the negative comments it’s recycled textile cotton remnants???? It’s not going to be one continued roll?? I just sew the ends together and keep on going. It’s amazing for weighted blankets. It’s cotton! so unlike wool it will feel stiffer when knitted or crocheted. Just knit/crochet a looser knot!! Or buy a different cotton based product? This stuff is awesome and I love it!! There is no change in colour throughout the roll, it’s pretty much the same width throughout, it’s recycled and not discarded like so many other textiles!!! People should really read product descriptions before buying. Instead of sounding ignorant!! I highly recommend this product!!!

Used this to crochet two medium sized baskets, good quality and very easy to work with.

I was really disappointed with purchases of this yarn. I accept that sometimes if you buy a different batch there may be shade variations and also slight differences in thickness but the second time I purchased this yarn it was a vastly different thickness to my first purchase. The labelling on each reel was the same. I’ve never had such a big issue with a yarn purchase before. I did contact the seller who felt that this was just the nature of the yarn and advised me to buy a different kind of t-shirt yarn. Sadly this didn’t really help as it meant I either had to abandon the project I was working on or leave it incomplete. I wouldn’t buy this yarn again and will have to use what I have on miscellaneous items instead of the intended project. In it’s own right each reel of yarn is ok but not compatible with each other, maybe I just got unlucky?
