Swiss Diamond Heat-Tempered Glass Lid 11" Dishwasher Safe and Oven Safe

I was extremely surprised by the quality of this cover as it seems as well made just like the bottom, perfect fit, heavy enough to be considered great quality, and the vent in the lid handle comes in very handy, if you own a Swiss Diamond pan be sure to purchase the cover also, have one for the 8” & 12.5”

The “Swiss Diamond Heat Tempered Glass Lid” is a perfect fit for my 1980, made in France variant of the “Cuisinarts” fry pan. This is before “Cuisinarts” became “Cuisinart”. The Swiss Diamond glass lid is more user friendly and efficient as it allows you to see the progress of your efforts. Additionally it has a valve integrated into the top handle which allows the pan to be vented as necessary. I’m very pleased with my purchase. My highest recommendation.

Product appears and functions just above other lids reviewed. When it was received and a final inspection was made the lid was found to be well designed, having superior characteristics relative to materials, manufacturing and fit.

This skillet is heavy-duty. It heats evenly like cast iron and the surface cleans easily. I believe that it is solid enough to not warp like the other nonstick skillets I've had. The lid is also high-quality. I am very pleased with this product. The lid is also high quality and fits the skillet perfectly. However, the vent is part of the handle, which cannot be removed making it not fully accessible for cleaning.

Purchased for a LeCreuset 6.5-inch skillet and fits perfectly! Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Don't really need the vent feature of the lid as the skillet has pouring spouts, but it may come in handy for another small pot or pan. Highly recommended!

A fine lid with an unusual (steam-releasing) knob design. However, my review is not about the product itself but rather about how it fits with a different company's pan, my 11" All-Clad French skillet. So I'm happy to report that this Swiss Diamond 26 cm glass lid pretty-much fits the 11” All-Clad French skillet. Not a perfect fit, but good enough at least that its metal band (called a bezel or shroud) will safely “seat” in the pan. (About sizes: This lid is described online to be 26 cm in diameter. Divide by 2.54 and that’s 10.2 inches. Its retail package described it to be 10.6 inches. Multiply by 2.54 and that’s 26.9 cm. No wonder it’s hard to purchase the right lid online!) The ideal lid would (i) be of large enough diameter that the lid's rim covers the OUTER wall of the pan’s sides and would (ii) have a lip (the part of the lid that goes down) of small enough diameter that the lip fits all-but-snugly inside the INNER wall of the pan’s sides, providing lid stability. It seems the All-Clad product line doesn’t include glass lids for their (awesome) skillets. I shared my 11” skillet with someone who really, really wanted a glass lid for it. After carrying the skillet to several local cooks’ supply stores in search of an open-stock glass lid, I was an unsatisfied Goldilocks—this lid was too big, that one too small. Every 10" lid was so small that the whole lid would sink way down into the pan. Every 11” lid was so large that its lip couldn’t fit inside the pan. For example, the larger (11") lid of the Cuisinart 71-2228CG Chef's Classic Stainless 2-Piece Glass Lid Set was a very nice lid that turned out to fit another hard-to-fit pan, but alas its lip (the bottom of the metal band) hung OVER the outside of the All-Clad 11” French skillet, which could undesirably direct steam down onto the cooktop. At least with this Swiss Diamond SD26C Tempered Glass Cookware Lid, the lid's lip does fit inside the inside edge of the pan's sides, and with a close enough fit that the lid doesn't slide around or sink very far down into the pan. P.S. Online I saw a 10.5-inch glass lid made by Anolon. Am wondering how well that one might fit.

Based on measurements of my 1960's Revere Ware pot, this lid should've fit perfectly, but it seems about 1/16" too big to fit securely. I don't want the hassle of returning it, so hopefully I'll find another pot some day to use it with. It was shipped promptly and arrived on time.

Love it, love this brand of cookware. I dropped the lid and broke the handle and this is the replacement. Love it

Un peu "cheap" et cher par rapport aux modèles concurrentiels. Il y a certainement mieux sur le marché...Le critère "swiss" n'est pas signe de qualité.
