Worth the Read!
One More Time (…just for the fun of it!)I finished reading this yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed Hattie’s diary entries that make up the book. The entries tell of the fun experiences and how the old folks living at FairAcres Retirement Home coped with the not so much fun experiences while getting further on in years. Hattie sprinkled humorous anecdotes here and there throughout the book that made me laugh.Hattie also shares how the residents care and look out for each other, and how they pull together to help those outside the home who have faced misfortune and are in desperate need of assistance. Enjoyable!

Funny and easy read
Again this author makes you laugh and cry. I have read her other books and this one does not disappoint. Highly recommend to older generation. I always pass her books on to family and friends.

Written from the viewpoint of a senior woman who reluctantly moves to a residential facility buy learns to love it there
You just have to read all of Ms. Wilder's books. Written from the viewpoint of a senior woman who reluctantly moves to a residential facility buy learns to love it there. Keep a kleenex ready - you will LAUGH so hard you will cry. The seniors become great friends who have fun while expressing their concern and love. Great books. Oh how I hope to turn out like her characters. I'm close, at 57 years young myself.

Join the fun at Fairacres!
I'm sorry Effie waited so long to write this series. I wanted more! She makes me think "the home" isn't such a bad place to end up - especially if it's Fairacres!

Good, wholesome story line
I received the first book in the series as a gift and read it in a day. Left me wanting to read the rest of the series as soon as I could get my hands on them. Good, wholesome story line.

Fun reading
Ms. Wilder is just fun reading. As I work with the elderly I can relate to a lot of the things she says, besides I am in my sixties also.
