I do not get the Velcro joint between the two pieces. But it holds solid and the pad works great. The bottom actually has a lip around it which will catch a lot of spills that pass through the car seat. Yes, we also said we would not let our kids eat in the car. With us also, that lasted all of two weeks. We all know how nasty those car seats get and how many crumbs we vacuum out of our automobile's seats when we remove the kids seat. Well, this pad should catch a lot of that. Now as to function for which I bought the item. To prevent depressions in my new Ford F150's seats. Works great. The safety seat strapped in tight and firm (no wiggling from side to side). My process involves sitting all 225 pounds of myself in the kids car seat, and pulling on the strap while rocking side to side. I get those things in there tight. Well, last week when I installed the kids seat, it sunk down probably three inches into the Ford truck's rear seat cushion. Today when I put this under the safety seat, it might have depressed all of 3/4 of an inch. And I promise you, it is as tight as ever. Not sure about the front lip of the pad sticking out at the front of the seat. It might provide foot support for the three year old. But, I suspect it might hit the six year old at the back of his calves. May have to tuck the front edge back under. Seriously considering ordering two more for my wife's car even though it is older and already had five years of kids car seat action.

I like how it is flexible but still hard enough that it doesn't leave indentation on the car seats. Very easy to put together, you just velco the two pieces. It's small enough you don't see it sticking out and big enough to cover the carseat. Very good quality for the price you pay and worth it.

I really like the base seat protector, very sturdy, easily catches a lot of liquid and crumbs and worse stuff. I don't remember checking to see if it leaves marks in the upholstery - which is probably going to be a question for persons with white upholstery. I took off 1-star for the back seat protector. The shape I thought could be larger however the main issue is the Velcro and how it secures to the base. It would be better if there were straps to hold it up.

Thank you for making this product!!!!!! It is truly saving the new leather seats in my Rubicon from being ruined. I absolutely LOVE this product. To properly install a car seat you have to really tighten it down, which compresses the foam in the seat and puts a lot of stress on the seat covers. With leather this means permanent stretching and often rubbing through. This pad is very well made and looks classy enough to blend with the leather seats on any vehicle. Other products look cheap and tacky on good leather seats. This is also thick and slip resistant, so once you can really get the car seat locked down nicely w/out any movement. One small suggestion would be to add a small loop at the top and bottom to tie a string to the headrest and seat posts respectively.

The Prince Lionheart Seat Saver works very well and provides many benefits! I had some reservations, but was very surprised how well this seat saver works! My initial concerns were how secure the car seat would sit on top of it and whether my car's seat cushions would really be protected. CAR SEAT SECURITY ================= I am using 2 Britax Marathon car seats and the seat saver works fine. By properly tightening the car seat there is no sliding at all. The car seats are just as with the seat saver as without it. (FYI: My tests were done using LATCH to connect the car seats to the the fabric seats of my 2011 Toyota Sienna's 2nd row seats). PROTECTION ========== I was initially concerned that the front, dangling flap would not adequately protect my car's fabric seats from the shoes of my kids as they climbed into their car seats. The semi-rigid material of the seat saver ensures that the flap doesn't move around as kids move around on it. The flap also has enough length to protect your cars' seats even though it seems a bit short in the photo. As an added bonus, the molded shape of the seat saver is actually able to catch and hold some pee if your kid (who is diaper trained) forgets the diaper training while asleep during a long car ride. CONCLUSION ========== This seat saver works very well and looks nice too. After removing the seat saver after a long car trip, the car's seat cushions looked fine.

These are great for protecting your car from children and their car seats. We just purchased our 3rd one with our 3rd child and really like the product. The base portion is a bit wide for fitting 3 across in 1 row of seating, but it is simple enough to overlap the bases a bit to make it work. The base portion does work well at collecting food/drink spills and dropped toys. The back portion does not do much but keep the car seat from making an indention in your car's seat. The only benefit of it versus stuffing a towel behind the car seat is aesthetic, but it does accomplish that. The base portion is absolutely worth the purchase!

From reading alllll of the other comments on various car seat covers i chose this one. There are NOT alot of choices on the market, however this is the "Bentley" of car seat covers. It is thick enough to keep car seat marks from setting into your seats and dose get all spills. The bottom hsngs down low enough that my 2 1/2yr old (3ft) son isnt kicking the seat. We just bought a new top of the line awd mini van and the last thing i wanted was messed up seats. Just keep in mind if you have light seats order the grey one. If you have dark seats order the black one. It does state if the inside of your car reaches something like over 100 deg color from car seat cover could transfer... Hence ordering the right color (grey/black) would keep this from happening. We have leather cream interior and live in CA. We have NOT had any probsb i will be ordering anthr one to keep in trunk for when other ppl are in the car that have a child in a car seat.

Très pratique avec un enfant, qui forcément un jour ou l'autre vomit ou sème des miettes. Lavable, il a une forme de coupe qui fait que tout reste dedans!! Le petit rabat vers le bas protège le siège des petits pieds qui pendent ou qui escaladent. Il est prévu pour laisser passer les barres isofix. En place depuis 1 an environ, il est toujours parfait, le siège de la voiture en dessous n'est pas déformé. La partie du haut est un poil courte et ne protège pas du haut du siège auto, mais ce n'est pas là que ça s'abime le plus.

Sicher gibts mittlerweile günstigere Sitzschoner. Würde aber dieser nicht mit anderen Sitzschoner tauschen. Wir benutzen für unsere 2 Kindersitze sicher schon 4 Jahren und ist immer noch fast wie neu... Bleicht nicht ab und hilft tatsächlich Auto mit Leder von Druckstellen zu vermeiden! Super!

Suits our Kia Sportage perfectly. At the time of purchase, they were Much cheaper than the alternatives from Baby Bunting. Good protection for leather seats.

Fits pefectly under the baby seat. The back side is ok but it could be a bit bigger because it gets a bit short in some vehicles. The bottom side is perfect and it's shaped to retain liquids, etc. Although the manual warns you about the possibility of color transfering from the seatsaver to the vehicle seats under high temperatures, it never happened to me and I'm from one of those countries where you can get 40ª in summer (probably 50º+ inside the vehicle).

Sitzschoner ist sehr robust und auch gut für Babyschalen geeignet, da sich das obere Teil abnehmen lässt. Das einzige Manko...er ist etwas zu Breit! Er geht leicht über den Sitzgurt hinaus, was das Anschnallen etwas schwierig macht.
