Good jacket, packs down to a very manageable size.
Really good, lightweight jacket... Went for a larger size to allow for possibly having 'bulky' clothing on underneath.. Good decision on my part as I would say they are slightly under sized... Other than that... No complaints my end!

Highlander waterproof
Lightweight jacket used in totally horrible weather in the lakes. Bought a size up so as to cover a fleece instead of dragging a heavier coat out. Keeps weight down. Used with leggings I was kept dry for lots of climbs and distance treks. Good value and as usual a little damp from condensation but no worse than more expensive coats.

Windproof but not breathable. Ideal for long runs.
I ordered an L (being a bit overweight with a size 44 chest) and after unwrapping the carrying pouch (marked as an L) I found an M waiting within. Expecting the worst I tried it on and found that actually it fitted very well so no need to raise a complaint. I'd still recommend erring on the side of an L if you're a 44in chest though. Since purchasing I've tested it on a few long trail runs (22km+, 5-10C, windy) and found the following: * very lightweight - it's basically nothing at all so don't expect it to keep you warm (rely on other layers for that) * very good wind resistance - solid 60km/h driving wind and only a long sleeved running top underneath and no significant temperature problem (ambient was 10C) * very good water resistance - solid driving rain and nothing go in (but did have condensation issues since it's not breathable - just be aware of chafe points for backpack etc) * effective velcro sleeve straps - can set so your GPS watch is showing and wide sleeves to work with gloves * effective adjustable hood - comes up nicely over a peaked hat (with headlamp) to protect ears and can be pulled hard enough to not inflate when facing into the wind * not too noisy - the material will swish but it's not like wearing a bin liner so unless you're out hunting it should be fine for most runners * packs up very small - can easily fit into a running backpack when not required * easy to clean - just chuck it in the wash with everything else, dries over a radiator in an hour For the price this is certainly good enough for most people's trail running needs.

Great waterproof
I bought this for my grandson as I have also got one and it is perfect for taking on holiday as it packs away very small, has a very good hood that has a little peak, is water and wind proof. Excellent.

Great value for money!
I needed something lightweight, easy to pack and unpack, durable and breathable for my job, I was issued a very thick warm waterproof for my job but it was just too warm to wear and carry out physical tasks, this is not the first waterproof I came across however I'm glad I did, cheap in terms of money but very well made, totally 100% waterproof and wind proof! Breathable and does keep me warm enough by tackling the wind chill, I've used this on many occasions in very poor weather, once I'm home, give it a shake, excess water just falls right off, allow to dry for 10 minutes then pack away ready for the next use. Brilliant product that did exceed my expectations, I also use this outside of work on miserable days, I'm 6"1 average build, Large was ideal, I can wear this comfortably over jumpers, even thicker coats, it does have velcro wrists which is a nice touch, no problems there, and elasticated toggles to tighten at the bottom, also, no problems there, the hood is a good size, not tight around your head, the zip comes up slightly past the top of the neck stopping the water going down the opening at the top, easy to clean, some people wear this in the shower, give it a quick scrub and leave to dry, simple! Highlander has always made great products very affordable. This is my honest review.

Waterproof but not breathable
Nice looking product, quite good quality overall in terms of the manufacture. It packs down very small and is very lightweight as well. I only tested this briefly in a rain shower, and the item was indeed waterproof. However, it is not in the least bit breathable - despite the labels attached to the item indicating a breathable material- and so you end up just as wet on the inside as your do on the outside. After about 5 minutes, my t-shirt was absolutely drenched inside this coat. The material used on the inside lining is like plastic, so hardly a surprise that its going to keep as much moisture in as it keeps water out. Size wise, it fits as per normal UK sizing, and is slightly tailored also around the waist, so it looks quite nice on.
