This is an exact copy of my broken voltmeter, great product and 100% recommendable, buy it confident and replace your old voltmeter

Bought this voltmeter in December for my CJ7. The outer bezel was loose and the glass was loose as well. After installing it in the dash the glass cracked after a week or so and quit working. Gauge did work well for a week. Even when cracked. I ordered a second one in January and installed it. This time it read really low or not at all. Fearing I had a charging issue I had everything tested at the local shop and everything was fine. The gauge barley moved when I turned the key on. Unfortunately it’s past the return date for this voltmeter. So beware it does work for a week or so then dies. Not impressed with this gauge at all. I’ve used a lot of parts from this manufacturer and haven’t had too many problems with other items.

This is an older version of the Omix-Ada. Thought I'd save some money here but not worth it. The light on the back is horrible. Only one positive wire coming out of the back of the bulb housing, so it grounds through the case. Except the ground wire for the gauge is isolated from the case so the bulb won't function. Plus, the bulb that comes with it won't make good contact in the bulb housing anyway so after fixing the grounding problem I found the bulb still didn't work from a bad connection in the bulb housing.Its also extremely dim even when properly grounded. I had to swap out the bulb for a different one and bend contactors around in the bulb housing for it to properly ground.Finally, the voltage gauge is off, 2 fluke testers prove that point. At 14.3 volts (engine running) the gauge hits 16 volts. I would stay away from this and find the newer version elsewhere. The newer version has two spade contactors on the bulb housing and its a twist on. This one is a push in.

The gauge works as it should. Check with a voltmeter and everything reads correct. Easy to install and looks good in my CJ's dash. The printing on the face is a little smeared but the light in it is so dim that I can only see it in the daylight.

It’s hit or miss with these. Had to get 2 to find one that was actually working.
