does exactly what it says it does, used these to mend some ripped led lights and although the clasp didn't close on one end because i used it on a join with the thick silver wires (not a fault of this product, just might be useful to know), i used a bulldog clip to keep it shut and it works perfectly and i have 9 spares.

These work as expected, a bit fiddly to clip correctly but once they're on then nothing is moving!

you have to make sure the cuts along the exposed copper terminals on the led strip is bang on or movement may stop this working

I bought these and other fittings using the same style clamp, and to be honest the clamp system used to hold the LED strip is not robust enough except for in the most basic LED set up.I used them to rig my son's PC desk and PC with LED but it was very difficult to maintain a secure connection with these clamps, colours would drop out and some times power too.I ditched these and bought some of the "HIPPO" style LED strip clamps...... vastly superior product. It provides a very secure solid hold on the LED strip and cables giving a consistent connection.Would not recommend the reviewed item for anything other than the most basic project.

Use to connect led strips but the Astros seen to fall of and were quite fiddly
