Great product. Just be careful with the bolts, they are fragile and will break if dropped on a hard surface.

So I didn't use these for their typical purpose, but I used them to make my own custom towel rings for my bathroom and they worked perfectly! It's very easy to hand tighten these to get a really strong hold. In my application, they are holding a leather strap that gets a lot of pulling and movement, but these hold strong. They definitely wouldn't have trouble holding up a stationary piece of acrylic if they're working well in my situation.I have had these for just over 6 months now and have had no issues with durability and the finish still looks great. And they are in a super high humidity bathroom, so I'm quite impressed with how well they're holding up. I see others had issues with the mounting screws not fitting inside the base to attach it to the wall, but I didn't even try to use the provided hardware. The screws were too short for my purpose and I needed to use longer screws that would go through the backplate, drywall, then into an anchor so I used my own screws with no issues. The actual pieces of the standoff (the front bolt that shows on the top and the back piece) screw together perfectly, no issues there.Overall I am very pleased with these! I think there could be a ton of different projects you could incorporate these into and I will definitely be using them again. Would recommend! Hope this helps you make a more informed decision.

I bought these buttons to put them in photo frames and they turned out very well.

I had a plexiglas sign to mount and white standoffs are not common. This pack worked great, but it doesn't include any instructions. Here's what you will also need: holes on the standoff sign (I found 5/16" too tight, but 21/64" worked) and pilot holes for the mounts that go into the doors (1/64"). The kit includes clear vinyl grommets for both sides of the sign, but I found having them just on front worked fine. Trying to put them on both sides is tough unless you somehow tack them in place, and it tightens down fine with just one per corner.
