It’s so beautiful and the rhinestones have never fallen off or cracked. I’ve had it for a couple years now. Only con is you can’t control the temperature. But it straightens my hair very well and I just love the look. Works better than other cheaper straighteners.

Flat iron works very good. It has several temperature settings to chose from, depending of what tou are looking for. It doesn't pull your hair and it doesn't have that burnt smell like others do.

I bought this on a whim...every flat iron on here seemed to have a mixture of positive and negative reviews.I used it last night and loved it. No, it doesn't have a temperature control setting but it worked wonderfully on my thick, hard to tame hair. And hey, I actually bought it...It wasn't given to me in an exchange for a review type thing. So if you're reading this and considering it- go for it. It's a good one!

My wife wanted this after using one at our daughter's house. I bought this for her, and she is happy with this hair iron. It works well, is comfortable to hold, and so far, is holding up well.

Glides so smooth and makes hair shiny and healthy looking. May not be able to use to curl easily as it passes through hair so fast.FYI: you cannot adjust the temperature.

I got this to replace my old chi that finally gave out after 12 years. I went with the lava plates because they are better for thick, coarse hair. It works great for me! I was nervous about not being able to control the temperature since my old one had a dial but it has never burned my hair and leaves it smooth and shiny. I will say that some of the rhinestones have come off after about two years of use, though they do include a little pack of extras to replace them. I’m very happy with this iron!

The media could not be loaded. This is such a cool design I just wish it worked properly. I contacted Chi customer service and they said it’s malfunctioning, I’ve had this flat iron for THREE days.When you unlock it and increase the temp it’s supposed to show you the current temp then start climbing to the new set temp. The current temp should be what it was locked at . Example video… it was locked at 370 I unlocked increased to 380 and the current temp showed 395! Another time I had it at 360 increased to 380 it showed current temp 347.Not sure if this really works but I used a thermometer ( meat thermometer and heat sensing thermometer) and it always showed something different kept changing temps , when it was set and locked at 380 the temp on these thermometers said 348 but kept changing .I had to return . I have fine hair and need to know what temp I’m using.If your purchase one and it seems like it’s working properly I can tell you it slides through my hair very easily, no snags, leaves my hair shiny and it’s easy to hold .I’ve owed another Chi for 8-10 years with the dial , still works and love it but wanted a new upgraded one.UPDATE: 1/12/24- I wanted to try again and ordered this flat iron through a salon this time. Guess what… SAME issue … Fluctuating temps and this time this one was used with someone’s hair stuck in it and marks on the iron. I am done trying with this flat iron. Such a cool iron but two have now not worked the way it’s supposed to. Extremely frustrated. I’m going to try the T3 next.
