The Livivo Face Spa, helps me to clear my over-dry nostrils, as I sleep with a CPAP mask on my face -over night. I would advise others to take care not to put your face too close to the outlet for the steam, it does get pretty hot. Read the instructions first -as the dos' and don't s may prevent unforeseen accidents. I always clean the fittings in warm soapy water, rinse and leave to dry -preventing any bacterial build up over time.

Good design, I found it easy to attach the all parts. There is more to clean after use compared to when using just a bowl of hot water, but the parts are easy to clean. It produces very little noise as the water is heated, it's fairly quiet. I used the low setting and the steam output is good.

At first glance, it looks great, with a few different attachments... I'm ready to give it a go. However, the instruction manual is not fantastic. I presumed it would be pretty much a 'plug and play' type thing, with not much need for instructions, however there was one attachment that I still have no idea what it does! I presume it is what the leaflet calls the herb basket, however I cannot find where you then put it to use it effectively. This is the same with the essential oils - the manual does not tell you where to put the oils in order to benefit from them. Anyway, I decided to give it a go, just using the main face attachment (there is a concentrated nose/mouth attachment, however I couldn't get this to attach very firmly). On the plus side, it warms up very quickly. On the negative side, it gets so hot I cannot get close enough to the item to use it as intended. I have attempted several times, but gave up as I just couldn't manage to hold my face over the item for long enough to get a benefit. All is not lost though! Adding the essential oils to the water means it diffuses the scented water into the air - meaning when I had a cold I had eucalyptus oil/scent pumping round my room. 5 minutes of the face steamer on and the room still smelled like eucalyptus the following morning! So, although the item is not being used as described, nor as intended or needed, I have found another use, which means it wasn't a complete waste of money!

Really pleased with this steamer. Very easy to set up and use although in my opinion the instructions left out 2 points that should be mentioned:- The large facial steamer piece locks into place on the base by turning it clockwise slightly to make it stable and if using the nasal nozzle attachment it fits into the facial piece, don’t use it separately. Also included is a piece called an aromatherapy oil attachment, it opens up so you can put fresh herbs etc in it, if like me (and most people) you use essential oils just put a few drops directly into the water so I put that piece in the bin. Like others have mentioned if you use the nasal nozzle even on the low settling the steam gets unbearably hot so I just use the facial steamer which I prefer as it feels less claustrophobic. It’s very relaxing to use and afterwards the room smells lovely because of the oils. Overall I’m happy and would recommend.
