They are excellent. Fit was right, they roll very smoothly, easy to install. Getting the old wheel off was the hard part because of cutting through the axle. Not used it enough to comment on durability but seem solid and well built. We like the replacement wheel better than the originals. Well worth the money.

This set is the perfect solution to bring your bag back to life! The wheels are well made and come with bearings which make them much smoother and more durable than the originals... The hardest part is cutting off the old axles - luckily I had access to a drill press which made installation a breeze. The steps I followed are: remove the wheel assemblies from the bag... this is optional but it makes everything a lot easier... drill out the old axles... this is very easy but needs to be gentle so you don't damage the plastic part... push the old axle out with an awl or screwdriver... install the new wheels... tip: it's important that the side of the bearings is tight against the wall of the wheel assembly; otherwise the bearing will spin on the axle and not do its job. I put washers on both ends to make sure the bearing where tight. Install the new axle bolts... Tip: The bolts come with a blue mark on them which is a glue called "thread lock" to prevent the bolt from loosening... I added some more of this glue but I guess this is optional too. Thread lock is expensive but any glue should help to keep them tight... and finally reinstalled the wheel assemblies and bingo... my bag rolls much better than new!... The kit came with two different sizes of axles, 8 bolts, 12 washers, and a couple of allen keys to make installation easy... I was lucky to have access to a drill press but if you don’t have one don’t be discouraged... this is a job well worth the effort. In my case I save my bag for which I paid good money.. I ordered these as replacement wheels for a large Samsonite suitcase. The seller offered several sizes and exact measurements, so I received exactly the right ones. I needed to cut each of the old wheels' axles. This was the hardest part for my bag as the axles were pressed together (one could use a Dremel or other type cut off tool or a hacksaw). I cut away some of the damaged rubber on the original wheels and used some pliers to hold them while I cut them. Other bags might be easier depending on the axle. The new axles were included and both they and the new wheels fit perfectly. I do not know how long these will last but they seem very sturdy. They will be easy to replace in the future as the replacement axles screw together/apart. My bag works and looks like new for a very reasonable price.

These are high quality wheels that I used to replace the cheap plastic wheels that broke on a suitcase. They were easy to install and work great. It included all the hardware and tools needed for the installation.

Installed four of these wheels on my neighbors Samsonite 1910 bag. Her bag was in great condition but the factory wheels were breaking apart. I was really impressed with this product. They give you everything to complete the repair, including a longer axle if needed. What I found really nice was that this company had already applied Loctite on the screws to help reduce the possibility of them loosening over time. It worked out so well for her bag that I ended up replacing the wheels on her other two bags that were part of the set. Should last her a long, long time.

Good set of replacement wheels for my carryon size suitcase. Install required drilling out rivets on existing suitcase wheels. One the old ones where out, installation was simple. Suitcase now rolls better than ever.

Replaced my Samsonite Omni 24” checked bag wheels with these. They are a tad bit too wide, but I managed to get them in. Removing the old wheels (rivets) was super easy with a drill and a drill bit that fit inside the rivet. All I did was place the bag while the wheel towards the ground and drilled the rivet out at an angle, to where the drill bit was basically only hitting the side of the rivet. After about 20 seconds, the rivet broke and I could remove the wheel. Replacing it with the new wheel was easy, gently just prying on the outside of the bracket and then screwed the wheel on. It rolls super smooth and saved me about $140 in buying a new bag. Great!

Wheels on my Samsonite split. Kinda disappointed with Samsonite. Tried to find complete replacement (wheels with holder) but Samsonite no longer carry. Other Amazon sellers had similar looking replacements but other purchasers indicated the screw holes did not line up. Decided to find replacement casters and came across these. They are perfect!!! If you are a little bit handy you can easily fix these yourself. You need to drill out the rivets (not from head side but the other side). You can also use a Dremmel tool to grind away perimeter of staked rivet. Knock out old rivets and install new casters with the length of fasteners (it comes with two lengths) that work for your set up. Not sure how long they will last but the quality seems better than the original Samsonite...

These are sooo good. After about 5+ faithful years from my American Tourister bags, the wheels split and broke. Instead of throwing away the bags, I used these and they are now as good as new. It’s a simple case of using a hacksaw to cut out the existing metal pin and then installed the replacement wheels. These wheels feel like a very high quality and expect them to last longer than the original supplied wheels.
