My kids love Zoobs. The instructions are clear, but my 6yo struggles with following them. I would say that these are good for the 4-8yo range, the older kids aren't interested. These are a good quality and value, but aren't really durable. We are on our second set because the ends.can snap off if not careful.

Bought this for my 5 year old son for Christmas. This is our first experience with Zoobs and I am so glad I ordered them. They are great. Unlike so many toys that only do one thing, the possibilities with these are endless. My 5 year old can build with them easily. On Christmas day while I was busy reading the directions my son had already built himself a car. I thought they seemed a little hard to snap together, but even my younger almost 4year old son has figured out how to make simple things with them. The set comes with 12 wheels, so there's enough for a vehicle for both boys. My 5year old has been making matching vehicles for himself and his brother to play with. They aren't super sturdy vehicles, but sturdy enough to race around the house, with occasionally stopping for repairs. The wheels roll really well, and it's really neat for the kids to be able to play with what they've made.

My kids love these things! I have a 7 and 11 year old who received this set as a gift a couple of years ago. They still play with them (they were about 5 and 9 when they received them). It’s such a great toy, and conducive to creativity, that I recently purchased this set for my nephew’s birthday. The only drawback is that they break relatively easily. We’ve purchased replacement links.

My 8yr old son loves cars... and says he wants to design cars when he grows up. So we thought this kit would be perfect for him. So I'm giving this 4 stars because it is a good quality product that allows a lot of flexibility to create several different kinds of vehicles. The pieces can be combined in numerous ways and you don't have to just make vehicles...you can just connect the pieces to make other structures or combine them with some of the the other ZOOB products. The connecting pieces mostly connect in perpendicular ways.. .so the combinations with this set is somewhat limited. It is a great product but wasn't the best fit for our little designer. The downside is that the parts connect in a sort of ball and socket joint kind of way. Although they snap together and have detents to help hold the parts in place they still flex... so the things you build aren't "perfectly solid" but rather somewhat flexible. If your child has issues with things not fitting perfectly, you might need to go a different route. But if they are cool with just creating things for fun and aren't upset by the fact that the connecting pieces aren't exactly straight/stiff, then this would be perfect for them.

I have this amazing next door neighbor who has an incredible and amazing 7 year old son, who is funny, smart, incredibly curious and knows that when he grows up, he is going to be a mechanical engineer and make "better cars." So, it made perfect sense to me, when she asked if I could babysit from time to time, to buy a toy that we could play with that would help to support his dreams of becoming a mechanical engineer. (Watch out Tesla! Your time is limited!). Today, we opened the RacerZ Car Design box, (okay, so I went a bit overboard and bought several different boxes of Zoobs). Face it, when you are "babysitting" a 7 year old, you aren't babysitting so much as reverting back to childhood. Pixar Shorts in the background, (Thanks Amazon Video), we commenced to building. In less than 30 seconds, he had his first car. In that same time, I had attached a wheel to another piece! The design is brilliant! Seriously, the brightly colored bricks we all grew up snapping together, or, in the case of parents, stepping on, are great for little architects but Zoobs brings the whole engineering thing to a completely different level. No, you don't want to step on them, but they won't break and they don't hurt as much. Yes, you can buy all the different sets, they all work together. Yes, Zoobs will hold your child's attention for hours. These are fun for hours on end for almost any age- 6-106. Every child should have at least one, if not every Zoobs set out there! (Parents: Beware: Zoobs are very addictive- an entire afternoon can pass and you'll realize you haven't looked at your cell phone not even once!)

My 6 year old son votes 10 stars for this product. I told him we could only give 5 stars, and he was a little disappointed in that. He spends hours either creating one of the many already designed vehicles, or designing his own. It has enough parts so that you can usually create 3 vehicles at a time. This is my first time dealing with a ZOOB product, and i'm happy to say that I will purchase other products by them. The parts are easy to work with for my son, but not so easy as not to be a little bit of a challenge. I enjoy the creativity he shows when playing with this. Very good product, i highly recommend it.

My boys love love love legos and magformers. I bought zoobs because they looked like a similar toy that would allow them to build using their imagination. The good: There are endless possibilities to the things they can build. Even though this is a car set they love building houses, swords, etc. The bad: The instructions are pretty confusing, even for an adult. My kids don't follow them, they just build their own things. The pieces are already showing wear and a few look like they will break in the next few weeks. They are definitely not as durable as magformers or legos. If you're looking for another toy for a kid who loves to build zoobs are a fun option. I probably will not buy more in the future, and will stick with legos or magformers even though they are more expensive.

My 9 year old grandson loves Zoobs! He has been playing with them since he was 2. This was so much fun for him Easy to follow instructions Definitely giftable toy for any girl or boy thank you Amazon for carrying this product. Fantastic!!!!

Bought for six year old boy. He loves it! Challenging enough design to keep him busy, but not too difficult that he loses interest.

Arrived early. Just what I wanted. Great fun for 6 year old.

This has been a great toy for my 5-year-old, but 6 months out, 10+ pieces are broken. 5 Stars on the toy but 1 star on quality.

parts were hard to put together, and the projects when constructed were not sturdy enough to play with. also some parts were missing.
