G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow Volume 1 Paperback – December 25, 2012

This volume is well written and it is difficult to predict its twists and turns. My main gripe is that it is concluded in a different volume, other than that this is a great story and the artwork is exceptional.

Great stories of Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow including their training. It's drawn very well and tells great stories. Anyone would really like this book and the stories.

I love classic Joe material....I LOVE the new Cobra Commander surprisingly, as despise the movie adaptation. I've always loved Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes as well..but fighting off Blue Ninja androids and related nonsense takes away from the suspension of disbelief. Completist purchase, casual reader should borrow.

new gi joe books are more mature and brutal. love it.

Growing up with Joe comics from Larry Hama, this issue took some departures from the story I grew up with, as a result it just turned me off.

Set in the newer IDW universe, this is a new version of the Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow childhood story, with both the Hard Master and Soft Master.

Loved this book, lot of ninja action, even the flash backs with young Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are great. Snake takes his place as not only the badass JOE but a badass even among his ninja peers. I also like the way the the ninja are depicted. Ninja are not honourable men the are assassins the work for the highest bidder betrayal and manipulation is the same as breathing for them.The story centres around Snake Eyes rejoining the Arashikage clan, thought dead by his friends and trusted by no one in the clan but his sword brother Storm Shadow. What game is Snake Eyes playing, who can he trust and can they trust him. If you like ninja movies and action packed comics this one has it all.
