It’s rust!
Bought this for my HS science class. Somehow we don’t stock iron oxide! Worked great for a thermite reaction! You get TONS of it so buckle up!

Its okay, but the black iron oxides are better for many things.
Nothing really wrong with the product - 3 stars are because you should REALLY use the black iron oxide filings. This stuff looks awful in things like magnetic slime and was a lot harder to clean up than the black variant.
