Richardson Seating Cracked Ice Retro Chrome Kitchen Chair with 2" Box Seat, Red

Well made, sturdy chair. It is VERY nice looking, but I was sorely disappointed to find that it clashed with my vintage "Cracked Ice" gray and white kitchen table. My table is OLD, from the 60s or earlier, so I guess I was expecting a bit much for the "retro" look chair to match. It was too dark in the pattern, much darker than my table's light shades of gray. I returned the chair, but not before I tried it out. It is definitely of quality make and very sturdy. Nice looking. The seat padding is excellent. Comfortable to sit in, although not *quite* as high at the back as my old deteriorating chairs. Amazon allowed my return, which was nice. I highly recommend you only purchase one chair to see if it will suit your needs, and then go for the set if you need all four.

A great buy, came faster than expected, a good thing. Well packaged, bought two, both in one box, packed well. Took 30 seconds to get out of the box and that was it. I was surprised about the weight of the chairs, that's a good thing, very sturdy. The color was better than expected, it matched our red round table perfectly. The cushion is thick and comfortable. I can not be happier with this purchase.

We bought 4 chairs for our old 50’s table. They replaced old chairs that just could not be rehabbed. These chairs have nice padding. They are abt 1 inch taller than the original set which takes some getting used to. Shipping was perfect and fast. The company called twice to keep us alerted as to delivery.

great chairs, well made , very solid, like the 2 " box seats... I also have a few that dont have the box seats and they are not as confortable...They match my 60 reto table perfectly.....

This chair is so cute! I have an old kitchen table, laminate style and redid my craft room. I wanted a retro chair so I could use the table as a sewing table. This worked out great! It is very comfortable and so cute! Love the bright red color! It came assembled, just had to pull it out of the box!

I bought two of these to go with a 1950’s red cracked ice table I bought and restored and they matched perfectly. These chairs are built just as good as the ones we used in our kitchen back in the 50’s & 60’s. I’ve had them two years and the cushions show no wear or sagging! I wish I could buy 2 more, as I could only afford 2 originally. Sadly, they are unavailable. But when they do come back, I’ll pick up another pair! Don’t hesitate to buy…you’ll be happy!

These chairs are wonderful!!! I get so many compliments on them & they are as comfortable as they are beautiful!! Highly recommend!!

I ordered two of these chairs to replace my worn out vintage dinette chairs. On the plus side, they are very sturdy, comfortable, and the upholstery is done well. On the negative side they are MUCH heavier than my vintage chairs--some might need two hands to move them. The digital "cracked ice" pattern is true to the original but you can see the pixels if you look closely.
