I am an amateur audiophile and have learned how to appreciate fine musical equipment.This in-the-ear headphones has very good soundstage in its presentation and clear highs (supported by the manufacturer's reported frequency response). However it's not enjoyable to listen to music on because of 2 reasons:1) Very uncomfortable due to the pain caused by their heavy and metallic bodies on the pinna. After a few songs I had to remove them.2) Seriously lacking in bass. I am not a bass kind of a guy, but still, all I heard was mainly treble. Without bass, songs lack their fullness and warmth.So I am disappointed with my purchase because I was really looking forward to enjoying them. I was hoping for a small, audiophile-grade, portable set of headphones to compliment my high-res portable music player.
