We have been buying this for many years, and find it to be the same quality throughout. This buffered C powder was first recommended by our ND for part of a detox protocol, and then at a lower dose as part of a hydration and electrolyte balancing. Usually I add just a pinch or half the (included) scoop into a litre or gallon of water or homemade lemonade to sip throughout the day. I add it to my homemade lemonade as the plain taste is a bit chalky, and it does dissolve really well in lemonade. Easy to measure as the scoop is included. Can be added to a smoothie or cold fruit tea or juice. This blend is not just the vitamin C, but is a buffered formula meant to be softer on digestion (C can feel acidic), however the magnesium will stimulate bowel movement when ingested past your personal tolerance. Best to test out by using less at first. This can last our family awhile depending on time of year, whether anyone has gotten sick, and is a standard in our home. Unfortunately the price has increased significantly.

There are a lot of Vitamin C products out there so I was skeptical. I got this one because of the good reputation of THORNE and prior experience. This Buffered C Power is great. It dissolves quickly. It doesn't have added sugars to make it taste good. But more importantly, it works good!

Definitely use this product and it works well. It needs to be frothed a bit and when it is it gets quite foamy. I do it in orange juice and the taste is fine. Would buy again if needed.

I love the product but the taste wasn't for me. I had good energy throughout the day and didn't get sick while using it.

Excellent Supplement

Yo lo uso para ayudarme a ir al baño. Al principio tienes que jugar un poco con las medidas hasta que encuentras tu cantidad. Para mí, una cuchara y media, y me ayuda a ir al baño sin ningún problema. Mézclalo con agua, deja que todo el gas se evapore (si no da muchos gases) y tómatelo con el estómago vacío, una media hora antes del desayuno.

I have repeat ordered Thorne’s vitamin C, as for me it is the best supplier of clean vitamin C, no additives or fillers. Having a 5g daily dose with 200ml water is easy and basically tasteless. Best way to get higher dose vitamin C, and the buffered protocol works very well for no reactions.

The product tastes weird like powdered chalk.
