Moen 3919 2.2 GPM Male Thread Kitchen Faucet Aerator, Chrome

It fit perfectly, works perfectly, is easy to install as a replacement, and being Moen, I know it's good quality.

I ordered the Moen 3919 2.2 GPM Male Thread Chrome Aerator. Sold by Trusted Supply Source. I have a Moen Chateau single lever bathroom sink brass colored faucet. 1.2 gpm. It is located about 45 feet away from the water heater and takes a long time for hot water to reach it. I was growing old waiting to get hot water or even fill a cup with water for that matter. So, I removed the old brass aerator then took out the 1.2 gpm plastic insert and replaced it with the 2.2 gpm insert. That way I could still use the original brass colored outside piece. It works great! The water flow is much faster. My only regret is using the old slow 1.2 gpm insert for so many years.

Super fun when the old one failed & sent water spraying everywhere. Checked Moen's website to find the right replacement for my specific faucet & this was it. Easy install & we're no longer being sprayed.

I have an older Moen pullout faucet on my kitchen sink, probably from the mid-2000s. I don't know the model name. Recently I accidentally turned on the faucet while a plumber was making adjustments to the water pressure in my building, and the aerator literally exploded out of the faucet into multiple pieces. I had no idea where to begin to look for a replacement, nor what to look for. And some of the matching plastic parts that I saw online weren't available to ship to my location for some reason. Then I found this replacement part on Amazon. It's a complete set (male threads, all the filters inside) that screwed very easily into the bottom of the head of the faucet, and it fits perfectly! Now instead of an uncontrollable spray (with no aerator), the kitchen faucet is back to normal again. I solved my problem for under $10.

It works fine and is easy to install, but i also had changed out an old, filthy cartridge at the same time and because I installed this aerator before changing out the cartridge and that sent a lot of dirt that I wanted to get out from behind the aerator, I removed the aerator to rinse it, but the o-ring came out when doing so, and the o-ring was actually oddly shaped where the "top" and "bottom" surfaces weren't planar but instead angled in one direction, and I couldn't fully push the o-ring back into the aerator so i just sat it on there and tightened it a lot harder than the first time due to it leaking from the o-ring not sitting right in the aerator. I don't know if this issue would be consistent across all these aerators, but it sure was a problem with mine.

My kitchen sink water pressure was low and I did not want to hire a plumber. Replacing the aerator was recommended and I did it myself! Worked like a charm and saved me the cost of a plumber.

Great replacement. Easy to install and greatly improved flow, pressure and fixed drips from an older worn out spout.
