strong clove scent that’s perfect for blends
This little bottle packs a punch. The clove scent is bold and spicy, exactly what you want if you like warm, cozy blends. It has that natural, slightly earthy smell (not the overly sweet “fall candle” version) and it mixes really well with cinnamon, vanilla, or citrus oils. A single drop goes a long way in a diffuser, so the small size is actually fine. It also works great for DIY cleaners and gives them a deep, warm smell that lasts. The oil feels pure, not watered down or oily-thin like some cheap brands. If you’re into seasonal blends, cozy scents, or want something strong enough to mix without getting lost, this clove oil is a good one.

Worked like a dream for oral pain! And it tastes like cloves, not medicine!
Before I packed my dry socket with Alvocare, I used this clove oil for pain relief. It worked like magic. It makes you salivate and it burns for a second, but then it just tastes like clove and absence of pain. Freaking amazing. I’ve used it multiple times since then for oral pain related to the healing extraction sites from my wisdom teeth. (Pro-tip: get those suckers out as soon as they come in. Do NOT wait until you are in your 40s to have your wisdom teeth removed. It is kinda the worst. But if you do, go ahead and order some clove oil)

Relieved tooth pain immediately. Awesome product
Best thing ever for tooth pain. I recently had all 4 wisdom teeth removed and I developed dry-socket. The surgeon packed the wounds with what he said contained clove oil and it instantly relieved the pain. I was going back to the office daily for a week to have the packing removed and replaced and I decided finally to try it alone and see how I did. I ordered the clove oil (skeptical that it was actually therapeutically as efficacious as what the surgeon provided...I sell pharmaceuticals for a living and typically over-the-counter options do not work as well as medical grade products) I can honestly say this stuff was exactly like what I had received at the doctor’s office and relieved the pain/discomfort immediately. The only downside is the awful taste and it is difficult to apply. I read that it came with a dropper which it did not....so I have used Q-tips and the syringe that was provided by the doctor.

Potent Product, Poor Packaging
I would have given this clove oil 5 stars for the scent, pain relief ability & value for the money but I have to dock it for the problematic packaging. For all intensive purposes, it appears to be a high quality oil, but because the packaging of this oil is sub-par it got 4 stars. The company has got to get a new bottling method for this oil. The cap seal was was mostly broken off when it arrived. I don’t know if it just comes apart in shipping or if it gets sent out that way. It didn’t appear to have spilled, but it’s still disconcerting to receive a product you plan to use (& absorb into your body) for a toothache when it arrives unsealed. Looking at past negative reviews, seal issues have been all too common for this product. There was nothing wrong with the oil itself- it is powerful stuff— but it might make some people nervous to receive a bottle with a broken seal. There are too many nut jobs in this world to feel 100% confident that the product hasn’t been tampered with. With that being said, if you plan to use it for a little one with teething pain, be sure to dilute it with another oil— possibly coconut oil. This oil is potent & burns if it’s applied directly from the bottle to inflamed gums. Maybe test out a 1-4 part oil solution first and gradually increase the portion of clove oil per innocuous oil as needed until it is diluted to your preference. Overall, it is a quality, potent product if you’re willing to risk poor packaging...

AWESOME SCENT.
As soon as this arrived, I put some on the inside of my toilet paper roll. It has been a week or so now and I can still smell it. Alittle goes a long way. Clove scent can overpower so remember, less is more!!

Works very well.
I have an angled wisdom tooth the forms a sharp point and digs into my lower that gums sometimes swell because another wisdom tooth bursting through. It is very painful. I have put off having them removed out of fear, laziness and the fact that they only hurt and are a problem once every few months. I skeptically ordered this oil but was very surprised almost elated. Within a few minutes of the first use the pain was gone and the swelling was down. A little soreness remained throughout the night but had vanished by the next day. I read a review below before purchasing. The customer said it worked so well that they almost forgot they're dental appointment. I am pleased to say it worked that well for me. Coincidentally, I got a rare cold sore on my lip at the same time and the oil stopped the discomfort in it's earlly stages and seems to have kept it from becoming something big and ugly.

It will work if you use it correctly
After having both wisdom teeth removed (the surgery was rather painful and traumatic) I followed all post op. instructions( no straws, soft food only, etc... ) I still found myself among the 3% of the folks that does not develop the blood clot necessary for the area to heal properly; and after 5 days staring at that open “crater” at the back of my mouth, I realized I had a dry socket ( I could see the white of the jawbone staring back at me from the mirror) I had to return 2 more times to the dentist to have the area stitched up and have medication applied to it, to try and have the dry socket healed. By then it had been 9 days with no results and the ear ache was starting to happen, that’s when I decided to look up at home, dry socket remedies, clove oil was at the top of every search result. I bought it and applied immediately. I did not dilute it with water, I applied it with a dropper directly to the open socket (no pain or burn in the area) it did burn a bit my tongue and lower lip a bit, but it was a small price to have the dry socket gone. I repeated the process 4x a day, and by day number 3 the area was visibly smaller and the dry socket was almost entirely lined with the clot necessary to heal. The product works, and yes it does have a strong smell, and it WILL burn a bit, but it’s worth it, at least it was worth it for me.

You don't get much
You don't get much. 10 MLS, I think. Glass bottle. A plus. Seems expensive. I would look for a better price per ml.
