I have seriously painful IBS. When I spoke to my Dr he let me know that mint oil can ease some of the symptoms. Since naking a few changes and adding this to my vitamins daily I have had far fewer and less painful IBS cramps. My husband has IBS also. Works for me, i have been using these pills for several years now, the formula changed recently and the peppermint seems less dominant but It's not a huge problem since the old formula caused me some heartburn, new one doesn't seem to do so.
